Re: Killer of Killers
OR, what if you took your own advice and focused on finding happiness and be at peace within your own life :confusedshrug:
Just trying to help bro.
I am at peace. I don't feel entitled to anything and I don't expect anyone to provide for me. When you have unrealistic expectations then you will always feel empty and unsatisfied when they aren't met.
Sounds like you have extremely unrealistic expectations. Either that or maybe your standards are just too high. You would think having a loving wife and kids would be enough to get you through.
But in order for you be happy you need to feel in charge. You need power. You need to feel like your life matters. Whatever the hell any of that is supposed to mean. If you aren't even in charge of your own life then how can you expect to be in charge of anyone else's?
This is why I am so skeptical that you're even a father. You don't sound like a man who loves his kids. In another thread you said the outcome of their sporting events didn't matter to you and that they weren't important. Now you're saying that you need more in order to be happy. If you do have kids then I really feel bad for them because it sounds like their father is a submissive, emotional cuck who needs to wake up.
There's no shame in admitting that you were wrong. Maybe it's time for you to consider a new plan.

Re: Killer of Killers
Unrealistic expectations about what? I am trying to explain to you why things are the way the are now. Your the one with expectations that every wife wants to be a home body. :oldlol:
Maybe if you changed your expectations, you'd have a wife.

I'm sure "Girl-Power" has nothing to do with that.

Well.... congrats to Feminism for destroying the institution of marriage.
That's a major success for society & children

Re: Killer of Killers
Actually a complex stat now that I look at it. Because around 90% of all adults get married at least one time. But only around 50% are currently married. You have a lot of older widows with an aging population. And life expectancy is higher vs then. Divorce rate is actually on the drop now too.
So I was wrong, "girl power" certainly isn't everything there. Changes in the economy are a big factor too.

Re: Killer of Killers
I don't like to put any faith in "polls" and "studies" but whenever the topic is being debated the data usually confirms that left leaning women are unhappier and more lonely on average.
I work for an office that I would say is 90% right leaning. Most of the women are team-Trump. The one liberal is always going on about how she's in therapy and how she suffers from chemical imbalance and yadda yadda, always complaining about not having any time for herself because she's always with the kids.
She's not a total loon though. She's beautiful actually and I talk to her all the time. I don't hold any ill will towards her. Sometimes we joke about Trump. But you could tell she's not happy and is just chugging along. It's sad to witness. Meanwhile the other girls will bring their kids to the office on occasion and you could tell they're just elated.
I don't think it's a surprise that the one girl in the office who goes to therapy is the lefty.

Here is another way to look at it. Although flawed, every way of looking at marriage numbers is flawed. There are too many factors at play.
Economy is a huge one, as you can see the dip during the housing crisis. You go back far enough and a woman basically had to be married just to not be homeless.

Re: Killer of Killers
Alot of marriages from 60 years ago lasted just because the wife was at home, so there was a dependence factor. Declining marriage rates was an inevitability of the feminism movement, along with child bearing. The modern woman can go out and get hers, 'don't need no man', and doesn't feel any need to procreate( I wasn't put on earth to produce).
So umm.. Predator Killer of Killers lol....

You know what else is complex? The Female Mind... every woman in the modern age is completely bipolar.
Woman want to be in charge... yet every one of them has some kind of twisted 50-Shades-of-Grey fantasy where they are dominated, submissive, abused, told with specific instructions how to dress and where to be, yet provided for.

That is what I have been saying. Their mind is much more complex than just "I want to be happy". Although that is also too dumbed down for the male mind as well.

No, I think most men are fully aware that most women are crazy.
It's not that men are dumb, women are just insane.
Another woke talking point you just made right there.

You actually didn't understand what I was saying. I was saying that just "being happy" is too simplistic and dumb for either mind. Humans in general are more complex than that. Women and men's minds are very different, but both seek more than happiness.
