In poker you can win one of two ways. You can win by getting your opponent to fold or you can win by having the best hand. We know for certain that U.S. & Israel aren't folding so that means Iran would need to have the cards to win.

Do you think Iran has the cards? I don't. It would require China and/or Russia going to bat for them and I don't think either side is willing to at this point, especially Russia who has their own hands full with their own active conflict.

Iran can retaliate sure. They can posture and they can beat their chest, but it doesn't mean shit if they don't hold the cards. And if Trump signaled anything with this attack, it's that he's not fukking around. I don't think he has any issue pushing their shit in even further if he has to.

Our side is going to come out on top most likely, the question is at what cost.

No one's "for or against" this war is meaningful. For the simple fact that none of us have a real grasp of the severity of Iran's nuclear weapons program or how big of a threat that really is to the world. They can tell us that Iran is grave threat, with "weapons of mass destruction" but none of us know how real that is.

considering how israel has been one step ahead of iran + mossad's notoriety in the intelligence community + israel's cowardness/bully tactics, it's clear they had a good idea that iran does not have a nuke. if they did, israel wouldn't have struck first. this entire conflict is a case study why nukes are great deterrents, but not having one makes you susceptible to attacks like that of israel.

I will say that most people are unaware of the fact that a raise in oil prices is actually a net gain for the US. Trump and our Gov I am sure have a firm grasp on that, which is why they don't care if Iran shuts their oil down. Because just like the Russia Ukraine war, it results in the US supplying everyone instead. At a high price even.

The US produces the most oil in the world and it will be happy to supply those that can no longer get oil from Iran.

Our gas prices will rise, and that is the part that is in everyone's face. But what they are not seeing is the new wealth flowing in.

i'm not seeing that at all. i understand my anecdotal experience does not represent the entirety of MAGA, but i am surprised that i am not seeing more backlash. i've actually not seen any from his loyalists. my fb is full of MAGAs (i work in the construction industry), and every comment has been along the lines of "it was a long time coming" or "i'm proud of my president" or "FAFO".
