Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Damn, his knee hyperextended really far back.
It's really unfortunate, the Lakers were the last line of defence from me seeing a possible Spurs-Cavs/Celtics showdown in the finals. I'm one of the few posters on this forum that isn't a fan of the Lakers but still somewhat likes them and enjoys watching them play.
Hopefully Bynum can make a full recovery ASAP, the young man didn't deserve that at all and for the life of me I don't know how anyone can say someone getting a 200 pound man falling on your knee can be a direct result of him being injury prone. A lot of people would need a full knee replacement after that.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Its official...........
Greg Oden>Andrew Bynum
I never wish injury upon anyone, but im overjoyed that Bynum got hurt. It serves all you loser laker fans right that said Oden was an injury prone bust who would never amount to nothing. Karma.
Edit: Also serves Bynum right for that nasty cheap shot he gave Gerald Wallace.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
This is f*cking insane....
It's like clockwork. I just got finished watching the movie "Magnolia" and this sums it up. Coincidence? Same team. Same injury. Same month. At least it was a different knee though, right?

I believe Pau Gasol coincidently scored the basket for the Grizzlies when Bynum went down last year. Who scored for the Griz when he went down this time? Mayo?

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Man o man this is turning out to be like Kobe and the Cavs a few years back. Everytime we played the Cavs Kobe would get injured for 2-3 years straight. Hopefully drew can come back soon and this season.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Man that looks bad, the beast is down again, i hope he s fine.:violin:
So again, Bynum or Oden???:confusedshrug:

I believe it was Rudy Gay...

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
And on another note, did you see the look on Kobe's face? He looked so concerned it's ridiculous.

It's was probably more of the fact that he was the one that caused the injury. Probably feels horrible taking out the second or third most important player on the team.

Thats the exact position that needs filling for them! Look out for a Radman - Gay trade within the next few weeks.
Pau
Lamar
Rudy
Kobe
Fish
Finals. :applause:

If that were to happen, just wow....

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
As a Blazer fan I am not saying a word. The minute I think it's funny Bynum gets hurt the same thing will happen to Greg Oden.
Lets just hope Bynum gets back before the playoffs. I mean we all want to see playoff games with teams at full strenth right?
I truly hate the Lakers but I wish Bynum the best.
That's a shame.
what's a shame is I read every post in this thread... :banghead:
"I didn't hear any pops, basically I just hurt the knee, the inside of my leg," Bynum said.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
If only I had lived a better life. Got more involved with the community, gave back a little.
-
Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
I'm going to diagnose him with a "strained knee" or "strained PCL" he will miss 2-4 weeks of action.
-
Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
I hope Andrew Bynum is alright. He's the 3rd best player on the Lakers Roster, and It's such a shame that he's injury prone.
The Celtics and their fans have never been classy, I thought everyone knew that. This is why they're not respected, despite winning a championship last year.
well you're never respected. and there's no despite. i mean... whatever dude

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Damn not again..I hope for a speedy recovery for Bynum.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
That's a really tough loss for the Lakers. Hopefully he doesn't miss that much time.
At least all these Lakers fans won't be able kill on Pau as he saves your team through this stretch.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
i passed out early last night, so i didn't get to see this till this morning.
i honestly don't think it's season ending, maybe a month or two at the most.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Just as he starts playing well (5 straight double doubles including 42 point game) and he gets injured... just like last year.
-
Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
Kobe clearly did this to improve his mvp chances. i hope he gets waht he deserves. Damn him. Watch lebron ACCIDENTALLY crash into Mo now.:hammerhead:

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
I'm not sure I understand the logic of those who have said that Bynum is injury prone because of this recent injury. What about this particular play supports the notion that he is injury prone... another player crashed into him. The injury wasn't a result of his style of play or bad knees on his part. The majority of NBA players would have suffered a similary injury had another 200 pound player crashed into them in a similar manner.

Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
This injury made me feel sick to my stomach. Last year, he wasn't howling in pain on the floor. I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best.
-
Re: Andrew Bynum Injures Knee Again
When the hell are the results supposed to come in? I can't take this waiting...

I'm opposite of you. I think(crosses fingers) it's gonna be better. For one, he didn't hear a pop, he heard one last year. Secondly, he can put pressure on his knee and doesn't need crutches but the doc wants him to have one though just for safety. He avoided any big tear by lifting up his leg when he saw Kobe coming down. Memphis doctors were optimistic saying he'll be fine but it's just speculation until the MRI results come in.

Thank you. God I love people who can think. I said this in the Oden/Bynum Injury thread and it was ignored.
