Re: Wade or Iverson?
Wade was a significantly better defender than Iverson. “Dumb as a rock Gengy” strikes again.
LOL.
whats next...... Wade is a 200/100 club guy atleast? or Wade is a DPOY winner?
easiest thing is to collect All Defensit 1st, 2nd teams year after year. Just look at kobe.
Even 1994 Pippen made it to 200/100 Club and tons of DPOY noise was made as to why Pippen dont have DPOY trophy.
Wade played defense here and there just like Kobe but never ever consistantly. that was good enough to lock in All D teams being a LAL or on position alone. aka "SG" position.
Wade and Kobe never ever went out and out like MJ and AI Defensively. saving tons of energy for playing offense. and saving up bad knees as in Wade's case.

Re: Wade or Iverson?
What has Wade done when he was in AI shoes? Being the man. The season with Shaq does not count either. Wade is my 3rd favorite player of all time and both him and AI share similar qualities. Wade is pretty much to me a bigger version of AI to an extent. But wade had as much team success as the man running the show as AI. When he took over 20 shots and avg 30? Miami won 43gns and was a first rd exit. Someone like AI gets crucified for that. Talk about irony.
How convenient

That was hardly prime Shaq in 2005-06. He averaged like 13 PPG in the finals.

Re: Wade or Iverson?
not the point!
AI had a better career than Wade.
AI accomplished more than Wade at 5'11"
AI inspired a generation.
Who did Wade inspire?
"Inspiration" is most of the time a popularity measure and has little to do with effectiveness on the court. Garnett "inspired" way more future players than Duncan.
What benchmark are you using for a more accomplished and better career?
He has fewer All-Stars, less All League, no titles, and the 2nd lowest shooting efficiency of all players with over 20k career points. Please explain.

Past prime Shaq. I remember him looking washed in the Finals, it was sad to see.

Re: Wade or Iverson?
I’m going to take back excluding Wade chip as the man in an attempt to prove a point. Wade is behind AI as my favorite players of all time so I can’t do him like that. I will say if you swap AI with Wade that season? That playoffs? That finals even? AI would win a chip just the same. It was unfortunate he ran into the lakers dynasty at the time he did. If he had a complimentary scorer next to him (why didn’t we take Paul Pierce? No hindsight he was the right pick) I think we take down the Lakers. I have no issue with folks taking Wade over AI. He has valid arguments to why. I’m not backing down from taking AI over him. But I can’t be throwing shade at Wade knowing how high he is on my personal fav lists either. That’s my guy. 2 legends, 2 guys who left it all on the floor. Attacked relentlessly. Wade was fun to watch.

When did Iverson average similar scoring OR efficiency to 06 Finals Wade (not even "AND") in any round of the playoffs leading to a win?
03 against Charlotte? Come on.

You mean 2006 Shaq that averaged 13.7 PPG, 10.2 RPG in the Finals? That's the Shaq you're talking about? When Wade was putting up 34.7 PPG. 7.8 RPG, 3.8 APG, 2.7 SPG. Hell...Wade averaged more blocks in the series than Shaq did.
But let's forget about that season?

AI avg 34ppg vs Raptors. The year sixers lost in finals. Where Ai avg 35ppg there but it wasn’t a win so it doesn’t count.

That’s fine. He said scoring or efficiency. I gave him scoring. If Wade played for Larry brown on those Sixers teams his efficiency would take a hit. Larry told AI to keep shooting the rest will rebound.

You're such an idiot.
When you post on here you're the human equivalent of a Philly cheesesteak left out in the August sun. Greasy, crusty and nobody wants to fucking be near you. You're out here with your biased ass takes and you probably still "Trust the Process" thinking it's a personality trait. Do you like the Rocky movies? Your favorite character was probably Paulie because he was pissed off all the time and drunk. Traits you can relate to. You were probably one of the Phillies fans that threw batteries at J.D. Drew in 1997 because he snubbed the Phillies and didn't want to play for them when they drafted him.
Do us all a favor. When people are discussing players or teams you're biased towards just don't post anything. Do something for once...shut the fuck up you negative cunt.

Benchmarks?
are you effing blind?
AI has 1997 ROTY award beating Kobe, where is wades?
AI has NBA Season MVP, where is wades?
AI has 4 Scoring Titles, Where are wade's other 3 scoring titles.
AI has 3 Steals Titles, where are wade's?
Wade could back hand steal FMVP when no one was expecting.
But same wade tanked in 2011 when he was overwhelming favorite to win Title and even FMVP as LBJ took the back seat.
AI accomplished much more than Wade has ever.
Wade's career is filled with injuries or knee problems. SUPER TEAM literally saved his legacy

You are telling me 18 YO Kobe is not good enough to enter NBA?
stop giving excuses for rapist. If he enlisted to entre NBA draft. he was good enough to compete against AI.
reality is 18 YO Kobe was destroyed by AI in ROTY competition.
again, a 21 YO Kobe was destroyed by AI in 2001 NBA Finals match up.
Both time, AI raped the rapist til big bro Shaq saved his little brother and won him a chip.

Make Kobe a non-LAL without Shaq, Bynum, Gasol big men help with coach like Phil, He aint winning any ring or even getting to NBA Finals at pathetic 44%FG shot jocking and ball hogging.
Reason he ran miles away from HORNETs on Draft day.
