Laimbeer wasn't a great player at all. He made the ASG 4 times and has career stats of 13 and 10. And I don't recall Laimbeer being viewed as stupid. He was seen as evil, but not known for dumb plays. Also, he delivered cheap shots light years beyond Garnett's. The Celtic closest to being like Laimbeer is Perkins. And he's light years away from being that kind of a cheap shot artist.

Who cares about a stupid interview? The "Ready for War" business was severely overreacted to by people that were overly sensitive. He was just being his noraml hyped-up self and people acted like he was disrespecting troops. Whatever. Every opponent isn't going to be intimidated by his antics, some guys are too mentally strong, but there are always guys that get more focused on proving something vs. KG than winning the game. And for the record, I don't know about Garnett teaching physics if he didn't have the NBA, but his work ethic is too strong for him to just end up bagging groceries.

Yes, I will mock, TY. Garnett doesn't fight big or little guys on the court because getting suspended would be idiotic. For the NTH time. Sorry to inform you of this, but your opinion of how tough he is is far less important than a 5-game suspension.

I don't disregard all of his negatives, I just haven't dwelt on them to your liking. Notice that I say Garnett "almost" never fights. Of course he's had some incidents, especially the reports of clashes in training camp when he was in Minnie. But in actual NBA games, what fights can you point to to prove that he's this huge bully? You would be both pot and kettle here.

He's just a dumb homer. He wouldn't have defended this guy, or probably even checked out the thread if KG was still in Minnesota, and I don't care what he says otherwise.

I know KG was like this when he played for the T-Wolves, but to me it seems like its escalating. Is this true, or is it just a product of playing for a better team and being in the spot light more?

I wouldn't have a problem with his antics if he'd actually be called out on it by the league. I don't understand how that getting on all fours to bark incident didn't warrant a suspension, or why he wasn't called for a T for waving his hand in Calderons face.
