LOL. Now you changed it up from "I don't care" to "As long as it's just to recover". Nice backtrack.
Even so, how is it any less cheating if it's just used for recovery? If you're popping pills and recovering twice as quick as clean players then those drugs are putting you at a major advantage. It's the definition of cheating. Just because it's used to recover doesn't make it any less so.
How did I backtrack? I said I don't care if he used HGH or not. I don't. Just because you assumed I meant him using in way possible doesn't mean that's what I actually thought or was trying to imply. You just jumped the gun and wanted to throw out jabs because you felt like it was deserved(and it wasn't).

I agree with Mark Cuban in that if they are used to recover from injuries and supervised in a strict way, then they shouldn't be outlawed. Obviously I was talking about HGH and not steroids, but you know what I mean. As far as cheating and all that, if it's available to everyone, it's not cheating. If you want to take the risk, then go ahead. It's your body and I'm not that worried about what you put into it. You are getting paid millions to play basketball and entertain millions of people. I'm sorry if that makes me a selfish American, but it's the truth. A lot of these guys have horrible diets but their genetics offset that shit. Am I supposed to be worried about that as well? Get real man.
In this particular case, I don't care because it seems like it was a one time deal(if at all). He used to get back a serious injury. Big deal. I like watching the guy play and so does everyone else. I don't take things much further than that to be honest. With or without the HGH, he's still a hell of a player:confusedshrug:

I see where you're coming from. I just think you stated it poorly in your original post.
If it's out in the open and available to all the players then I agree with you. If it's stuff he does in secret and is banned then no, it isn't right.
Chicks dig that shit.

Cool. I'll admit I'm not the best at explaining my thoughts so it probably was stated the wrong way. As far as all the steroid usage through ones career to boost overall performance, that's where I draw the line.
I still think that his jaw issue is probably just genetics and weight gain. Looks pretty funny though.
I agree that therapeutic use of HGH and steroids would be safe and highly effective. I think the problem is how easily it would be abused. When an olympic athlete gets busted for having allergy medication in his system, they aren't punishing him because they wanted him to keep his stuffed nose but because they need to keep them from abusing it for performance gains. There's just no way to tell where the therapy stops and where the cheating starts.
Honestly looking back, if I were anywhere near a pro prospect in any sport, I would seriously consider using something like hgh. The benefits are just to huge vs. the negative consequences. Particularly when you're young and aren't going to be tested. Most of those gains will stick with you for the rest of your life. Sure I may have backne scars and small nuts, but I would have had a significantly greater chance of becoming a pro athlete.
lol white Americans are so used to sitting on the sidelines that it has gotten to the point they do not mind if players cheat because they know they simply do not have a chance anyway
until it personally effects you of course you are not going to care about drug cheats how stupid are you? What about all the borderline players who are clean, the players who are fringe first grade, that don't take the stuff, how is it fair to all the players that miss out because some take drugs.
Seriously you guys are way to used to being spectators put yourself into a competitors shoes for a minute and tell if you still think it isn't cheating.
and yes this is a common theme in EVERY sports forums i have visited. In general, the majority of white Americans i have met do no care about cheating. Ill call it the sideline effect.
Brad Pitt nad Wade have similar jawlines.

and Brad Pitt has been known to have taken HGH in his career. See Troy.
although im sure his is mostly genetic

What a prick. Why do idiots like this think they can be so blatantly racist toward whites and get away with it? Oh that's right... because you can! We don't have some waste of life c*cksucker like Jesse Jackson to get all mad every time one of us doesn't get a job because a company needed to fill their quota. Talk about "missing out." Yet your more conerned about the miniscule number of borderline athletes who may have gotten shafted by a few other guys juicing. I'll call that the out of touch with reality retard effect.

firstly....dickwad.....i am white
secondly.....you, I, we are both alive and living in first world countries. Basketball means nothing in the greater context of things. People are dieing everyday but the only thing we can really do about it is take interest in things to pass the time. In essence, we have to fabricate all this crap to make our lives intersting i am the first to admit though that in the greater context of life, it means jack all. MJ is no god he is just like you and I at the end of the day. So before you get all wound up because i was sticking up for some tiny population of people understand that first and foremost i am on this website to pass time. While i am on this website I, as should every one else, should at least pretend that basketball is the be all and end all, because thats what us humans do, put a value to something that really doesn't have a value, like money for example.
So while i am on this website, while i am in this disguise, u fukin bet you i am going to stick up for the players who don't make it because others cheat. However now you must feel like an idiot because obviously you thought i was making a racist post. If anything i was having a go at American sports because 70% of athletes are negroes and negros believe it or not only make up about an eighth of America which is why we get this so called side line effect. Whites 'In America' are so used to never getting game time they have gotten to the point all they care about is the spectator side of things. In other words all they care about is themselves.
u mad brah
Damn aussieguy....were you referring to me?
I know he got his wisdom teeth removed not too long ago (maybe, 2007... I know the doctor), maybe that could be why
