Alright, that's what I was thinking too.
And by definition it's basically when you leave the ground with both feet and gather the ball while in the air before landing right?
Correct.

I see, is there a grey area here if you take a leap thing while dribbling and then gather the ball right after you land?
From what I understand you're allowed to jump up and down while you're dribbling ball all you want right?
Reason I'm asking is because I have no idea when to call travels on people when they hop-step into pivot, because I guess they can argue that htey gathered after landing.

You can take like a hesitation hop while dribbling the ball. It's a change of pace move. As long as the ball isn't being carried, it's legal.

Amar'e has some nice footwork too. He definitely has his own version of the Dream shake.

he definitely put his left toe back on the ground, and the jumped off 2 feet for the sad layup attempt
apparently he did. you said you can't pivot after jumpstop
Honestly, I think Lebron doesn't know this rule =\ He pivots after every jump stop.

I have seen 8 year old kids PLAYING BBALL with better footwork than Lebron.. He just needs to get into the gym with someone who can teach him over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.. And then over and over and over and over and over and over .. Repetition is going to help him and his foot work.. He has added a nice midrange game but to become a go to guy at the end of games you have to have offense that can beat great defense.. Dirk is the king at this point against any defense.. :applause:
