Yes but between the Nike deal, Lakers salary, and the Chinese endorsements he still got quite a bit of $$$ I doubt Vanessa handled the finances.
And Vanessa won't sell all three the fact she asked for all three was dumb to begin with. Its obvious her relatives were mooching off of Kobe and she'll realize that all those millions won't last forever if you don't know how to manage it. If she wants that high end lifestyle she needs that $$$ and with no job good luck with that not to mention the kids are getting older Kobe won't be giving her child support forever.

one of the problems here is that he got married way too young .. wtf are you doing getting married in your early 20s ? especially when you're wealthy and having the time of your life living the dream .. then to top it off, he marries a nobody with no money, no prenup, has kids with her .. he did everything absolutely wrong :eek:
as for her leaving right after colorado .. well you can argue that after all that happened, she calculated her stay as payback .. sounds evil but hey, if you're gonna go out might as well try to bank right ? you all are lying if you say you wouldn't consider that lol ..

Kobe's an idiot for this obviously but I am annoyed that I'm supposed to find Vanessa sympathetic either I just don't.
She was going to leave after 10 years regardless. Its obvious she didn't care what Kobe did. I mean if you stay after the rape case and the $ 4 million ring only to leave at the magic 10 year mark knowing he's a cheater well you pretty much invited the golddigger reference.
That and his parents said as much I mean really...
And I wouldn't have stayed with Kobe after Colorado then again I never would've married a professional athlete to begin with if I truly wanted a faithful spouse.
The women who marry these guys know how this works how do you think some of these women met these men to begin with....

You're right in that Vanessa is a gold digger, but she wasn't the one who ****ed up the marriage, that was Kobe.

You act as if cheating is the only reason people divorce people divorce for a variety of reasons in Vanessa's case it was 10 years and so she could cash in.
She decide that Kobe's cheating was unacceptable to her at the perfect time... yeah they both failed here. Difference is Kobe isn't expecting public sympathy for it in divorce court like she is.

Why would Vanessa even need to cash in when she is married to Kobe? She would be cahsing in more by staying with him...
True but my guess is now would be the best time to leave since he's maxed his earning potential he's near the end of his career and the NBA $$$ won't be around forever get her cut now before its too late.
