Given that there had been a string of home invasions by a black teen, GZ was automatically going to be suspicious of any black teen walking in the neighborhood at night.

exactly and that is racial profiling.. The profile of the criminal is a black person... Just like the profile of the terrorist is muslim..
so you suspect Muslims/Blacks because the people who did the crime were black/muslim too.

To pursue someone means you have the intent to catch or attack them. Zimmerman never said he was doing that, he said he was following Martin. Martin is the one who initiated a violent confrontation.
It's really quite worrysome that you would misrepresent the facts like that in your head. Zimmerman was pursuing Martin now, by his own account. That's what you actually make yourself believe.
I don't know if GZ was prejudiced against blacks before the home invasions. However i think that any white guy who is prejudiced against blacks will be far more likely to become a cop than guys who aren't prejudiced.
I have heard so many stories from black guys being harassed by cops for no reason, there must be something behind it.

No. I am saying that a guy walking down a sidewalk should not be under suspicion. If it was a white girl walking down the sidewalk it would be unlikely that anyone would think twice about it.

If the small physical differences you pointed out really were true (which they're not), then they would be consistent in every person of that ethnic group.

you're gonna be judged on how you look and act .. it's just how it is ..
the example you use with the white girl is the same with a black girl .. a normally dressed black girl walking down the street wouldn't have caught his eye .. neither would a normally dressed black guy who's not acting suspiciously .. he didn't call him in because he saw him 'walking down the sidewalk' ..
and as much as people want to defend him wearing a hoodie .. hoodies are now a tool of criminals .. you should know not to wear it on dark, rainy nights while you're going around standing in front of other peoples' houses .. use your damn heads
