Re: Odds of being true?
This is a worthless defense. We are talking about whether or not the individuals in question should have their posts. Just because Trump could make me the head of NASA doesn't mean I should be running it. The important question is about qualifications. So congrats to Kushner for graduating from Harvard, and I'm sure he's a bright guy, but how does just graduating from Harvard make him qualified for one of the most important foreign policy discussions we engage in? Kushner is a businessman. He is out there in the Middle East trying to work out a fair deal (well, supposedly) so that the rest of that area accepts Israel and hopefully the Palestinians accept the situation. It has almost nothing to do with his background. And I could have named several other examples. Like the brain surgeon in charge of housing and urban development. What has Nancy Devos ever had to do with education, and has she ever had any interest in improving public schools? And I could go on.
Hunter Biden, not being part of our government, is a different case. If there is legit corruption there involving his father then they can persecute that but he was not part of Obama's team.
So? Again: I am not defending Hunter Biden. I don't understand why that's hard to understand. He had a relationship with his dead brother's wife, did drugs, has been up to...whatever he's been up to. I have no need or desire to defend him. And?
No, we're talking about legality. But lets put that aside for now.
Okay so Kushner, who has little experience in the middle east has been in that position for three years... during the three years he served that role - what has he done wrong to show he didn't deserve that role? Last I recall it was Obama that ran under the lines Bring our soldiers home -- I paraphrase -- but I don't think that was done until his second term and I believe ISIS grew under his watch. The way I see it, ISIS is better controlled, we have less solders and wars now then under the Obama era. I wont even get into the other good things that have happened in the ME during the Trump era.
Ben Carson might be known as a surgeon but please do yourself a favor and read his bio.

And you know that ISIS is better-controlled how? And you know that has anything to do with Kushner because? Really I'm not sure what Kushner's real impact is myself, I'm just pointing out the fact that he was given a post for which he is completely unqualified. He would not have that office (whatever it actually is) if he was not the President's son-in-law. He wouldn't even have a security clearance.
Not interested in reading the Carson autobiography.

My name is Tony Bobulinski. The facts set forth below are true and accurate; they are not any form of domestic or foreign disinformation. Any suggestion to the contrary is false and offensive. I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker. That email is genuine.
This afternoon I received a request from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs and the Senate Committee on Finance requesting all documents relating to my business affairs with the Biden family as well as various foreign entities and individuals. I have extensive relevant records and communications and I intend to produce those items to both Committees in the immediate future.
What I am outlining is fact. I know it is fact because I lived it. I am the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings which was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family. I was brought into the company to be the CEO by James Gilliar and Hunter Biden. The reference to “the Big Guy” in the much publicized May 13, 2017 email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden. The other “JB” referenced in that email is Jim Biden, Joe’s brother.
Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing. I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.
I realized the Chinese were not really focused on a healthy financial ROI. They were looking at this as a political or influence investment. Once I realized that Hunter wanted to use the company as his personal piggy bank by just taking money out of it as soon as it came from the Chinese, I took steps to prevent that from happening.
The Johnson Report connected some dots in a way that shocked me — it made me realize the Bidens had gone behind my back and gotten paid millions of dollars by the Chinese, even though they told me they hadn’t and wouldn’t do that to their partners.
ouch. dagger in the heart.
Part left out from the subsequent conversation:
What is not clear yet is whether Joe Biden had secret stakes in any of Hunter’s other deals. As for this one, while the date on the May 2017 email would be nearly four months after Biden left the White House, it’s not known when discussions among the partners and with the Chinese first began. Certainly they started before the email.
That was lodged into the middle of the NY post article. Until those 2 things are cleared up, we don't have a open-and-close case.

Re: Odds of being true?
Elected presidents can pick and choose who they want as advisors. Whether you agree with that or not is a matter of opinion. Jared Kushner is a Harvard Grad with a degree in government. When we talk about Hunter walking away without dishonorable discharge -- we're talking about possible corruption when everyone else who tests positive for drugs in their system during their service are discharged dishonorably.
You previously posted about me not answering your question and followed up. But you didn't answer my question in regards to what Hunter is doing on a foreign country's board with no experience. Oh wait, you wont defend him and are doing what you accused me of doing... side stepping the question.
Hunter is a lawyer who got his degree from Yale (after transferring from Columbia University). Very difficult colleges to get into. He was also on Amtrak board appointed by President George Bush (few years as vice-chairman of Amtrak board). He also started his own investment firm and lobbying firm. There, I answered your question.

His dad was a Senator when President George Bush appointed him to the Amtrak board as vice-chairman.
