Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
Forget lawsuit, he hasn't even denied it. This guy is on social media telling everybody about his dreams but he has nothing to say about this? These allegations have been around for a while and now someone explicitly, on camera, directly accuses LeBron of using and even says he knows the guy he gets it from. Either the guy is lying or he isn't. I know LeBron is hoping this will just go away but it won't. People will bring up "LJ" from the lab in Miami. They will analyze his physique throughout the years. They'll wonder about the cramping in the Finals and the hair loss. Hulk Hogan vitamins? They will wonder why he is putting up numbers in his late 30's after playing 20 something years. He is Lance Armstrong-ing the league with plenty of people making subtle and not so subtle accusations. I didn't want to believe Lance Armstrong even when it went past common sense to keep denying it. This will be a cloud hanging over "LJ's" head for ever unless gets out in front of this. When will the queen of social media speak up?

Step 1. Change the subject
Step 2. Hope people forget the accusation
Step 3. Repeat
Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
I think Wade got LeBron into this crap in Miami (which is a known hot bed for PED usage).
You see your best friend and guy you think is the 2nd best player in the league doing it, and you think "well if he's doing it, damn I'm missing out I guess. Maybe I should try it once" and it starts there and you get a boost from it and welp the rest writes itself.
And it's so blatantly obvious Wade was on some shit, lol. He just had pre-existing knee problems and steroids/HGH or any of that stuff is going to be limited in what it can do there.
The other stuff is fishy as shit too like LeBron having to leave the Cavs (2nd time around) to fly to Miami to take a "vacation" in season and then coming back from that "rejuvenated" ... like c'mon lol. Like what is so magical about Miami that he had to go there for a short period of time to get his game together?

Lance Armstrong's case did not go past common sense because it turned out his competitors were also all doing it. I think it's the same case here. EPO and similar endurance boosts have become common in basketball and soccer. I don't know how common it is in the NBA but I know it's wide spread in elite soccer.
But none of these things have any affect on hair loss or cramping or physique. You're thinking of steroids and they aren't much of a thing in basketball. Maybe it was in the 90s(because it was in every sport) but the risk/reward isn't there anymore. Maybe HGH.

Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
Even when LeBron was on the Heat, I remember there was lots of discussion on this board and other boards that LeBron at times seemed to not be himself and just seemed "off" and not as explosive athletically for random stretches, which looking back at it now seems like a tell tale sign of cycling on/off PEDs.
I would guess as the years have gone on and the PEDs have evolved, he's probably gotten his cycle/stack down to a science so that the dips are minimal if he is using.

Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
You need to prove damages for defamation to work...that hasn't happened.
Also has any player ever sued over this?
