Interesting. He won't quit AEW and suddenly show up at WWE Royal Rumble with the TNT belt, will he?

WALTER is now known as GUNTHER.
WWE trademarked the name "Gunther Stark", which happens to also be the name of Nazi commander during WWII. :oldlol:

You don't say! Oh my!
In addition to Lio Rush, multiple contracts are set to expire over the next 30-60 days.
Brian Cage, Marko Stunt and Joey Janela are amongst the names expected to have their contracts come up and be allowed to expire.
excited for the Rumble tomorrow
Rondawinslol
This Royal Rumble sucks big time. WWE no longer cares.

Rey and AJ had a great match. Love to see Rey wins the WWE Championship
how many wrestlers are still technically world champions from "screw jobs"
Hogan never got beat for nor dropped the wcw title

Bret never got beat for nor dropped the wwf/e title

technically this is his belt and the guys running around with it since are interim champions
tons of guys have dropped the belt without getting beaten. but they relinquished it or they failed to appear and were forced to be stripped. hogan and bret were never given notice/dates and were stripped of it illegally by any REAL combat sports criteria
every other title change/drop was a work. these were real robberies/screw jobs
Wendi Richter was pinned for real so she technically lost for real in a shoot so she doesn't count

Cody and Brandi Rhodes have reportedly opted not to re-sign with AEW and are in talk with WWE.
Not sure if it is a work or not, but we will see how things go soon.
Well he left the issue is does AEW and WWE have a working relationship (which wouldn't be crazy). I think Cody got himself in a bit of money trouble and we'll see if Vince and company push him or dump him in a year.

Cody has a lot of things in common with his father Dusty, as a wrestler/promoter/booker. Dusty did the exact same thing in the past when he often jumped ships when things didn't go well for him either money or booking power. He would rather wrestle in polka dots for Vince McMahon and WWF/E than losing his booking power after Turner bought WCW.
Whatever WWE will do to Cody if the deal is done, they will try their best to milk the money out of him. It won't just Vince being ass by paying Cody just to bury him. There are investors watching too.
Now Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Kevin Owens is now set, there is another rumour that WWE is trying to do Shawn Michaels vs AJ Styles too.
WWE is going all out trying to fill AT&T Stadium.

Very obvious direction. Ronda vs Charles on Day1. Brock vs Roman on Day 2.
Who are the best WWE and AEW stars these days? I need to catch up
Jake "The Snake" Roberts recently said he doesn't have to use an oxygen tank any more.
After years of drugs and alcohol abuse, Jake is still around and kicking. He really is the Keith Richards of pro wrestling.
Cesaro has quietly been done with WWE now that his 1-year contract has expired. He had a great run with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns during last year's WrestleMania season and that was it.
He has no 90-days non-compete clause so he could show up at anywhere in pro wrestling as of today.
AEW's Tony Khan will have a big announcement tonight, which he says he will do it himself.
Rumors have been that it's either AEW buying Ring of Honor or HBO Max deal.

Tony Khan just bought Ring of Honor
You did. :oldlol:
To point out how silly you look. Listen, I used to watch wrestling at its peak during the Monday Night Wars.
But now? It's utter shite.

Yeah, Monday Night War was the shit.
The current pro wrestling environment though has been very interesting. WWE is still dominating but smaller promotions toward indie level can now hold on their own with AEW leading the way. Promotions outside the US have had produced great product and talents as well. You can easily find pro wrestling the way you want nowadays.

AEW reportedly is trying to acquire the right for this song:

For some reasons, WWE doesn't own this song even though they have used it for the Hardys for years.
Scott Hall :(
Also, Big-E :(
Cody Rhodes has officially signed with WWE, according to PWInsider. Expect to be re-debut at WrestleMania and be on Raw brand after.
Cowboy Brock is a real one. He is doing great promo work ripping doors off trucks :lol
Jeff Hardy got to bring his music with him to AEW. Caught me by surprise. Didn't see burninghammer's post :facepalm

I actually enjoyed WrestleMania 38.
I actually enjoyed WrestleMania 38.
It was good, yes. There are some low lights (Boogs' injury, Vince wrestling, etc.) but not that much.
I actually enjoyed WrestleMania 38.
Night 1>>> Night 2
night 2 was trash. and vince ruined a good moment. we didn't need a second appearance by undertaker and stone cold. and we definitely didn't need more Roman reigns wrestlemania headliners with him winning. it's crazy how young fans love this monotone boring repetitive garbage man. he's the next John cena

Some folks could only be on one night though. For Undertaker's case, I somewhat agree but it was alright. For Stone Cold's case, this WM basically was built around him with Austin's product tying on it. He had to do something both nights. At least he did wrestle, with a great cushion in Kevin Owens, and do the beer bash thing.

I cracked up watching the Jackass crew punish Sami Zayn.
