The jazz played Doncic like teams played Rubio.

Slow guys who can at least kinda stay in the picture are good enough for us to get by defensively. Again, this is only with Rudy on the floor. If we had another center I’m sure I’d want Niang gone 2 years ago.
I’m not saying Niang is some amazing player or anything, but he’s a great 8th/9th piece for this roster who fills a niche here very well.

Rudy and Donovan are both playing fantastic (other than Rudy’s FT’s) and don’t really seem to care what anyone outside of the team is saying about the Jazz. They don’t have to talk about upcoming contracts, just ballin with the team and winning games. On to the next one as they say.

I do think it is likely that something will change this off-season though, and Siakam would be a good fit, if he’s even available.
