Last season Lamar was 6th in passing yards and 1st in passer rating. He seems to tighten up in the playoffs but in the regular season his passing has been good enough for 2 MVPs, and you could argue that he was better last year than in his MVP years.

Interesting game last night. Caleb is certainly talented, very athletic with a strong arm, but looks like more of a project than was expected. He doesn't seem to process the game that well and overthrew his guys several times. Might take a few years for him to hit his stride

Odd game for JJ. He struggled for 3 quarters, throwing a pick 6 in the 3rd, then showed out in the 4th. Curious to see how he turns out. Rumor is that he was 2nd on the Bears draft board.

The Packers' defense is killing it right now. First two games holding opponents to under 250 yards total. TOTAL!

Just gotta make sure Micah stays healthy. That defense made Jayden Daniels look completely uncomfortable.

The amount of dancing after literally every single play at this point is insane. Maybe I'm in the minority but I'm not really tryin to watch guys in tights shimmy their pelvis and rub their bodies every time they make a tackle or pick up a first down.

I already know GOBB will reflexively see this as some kind of attack on black people and he'll insist it's great television to see guys in tight pants shimmy their pelvis and rub their bodies 30 times a game. But does anyone else feel this makes the broadcasts less appealing?

I havnt really noticed even though the second part of your post is spot on. I like celebrations to a point, it conveys a passion for the game. And it also shows you who are the old school G’s who go by the “act like you’ve been there before” and the other guys. I think they should let them do whatever they want and it help separates players and give them their own identities. Some wanna be the show out shit talker. Some are gonna be the silent assassin. Gives variance and overall makes it more interesting. Sports in the end is an expression of your inner self.

Stat shown in the 4th quarter last night about Geno.

He was 0-10 on passes that went 10+ yards in the air with 3 interceptions. He was flat out awful last night.

3 blocked FGs in like a 5 minute span at the end of the 1pm games. Insane.

Incredibly disciplined play in the second half. Kept him in the pocket and when he got out they swarmed and didn't bite on anything.

Drafting a small school RB at 6 is dubious. So is starting Dart against that Chargers defense. Wait a week and he can get his first start against the Aints.

Im not a big fan of drafting a RB in the top 10, but the best RB ever Walter Payton came from a small school. Tomlinson also came from a small school.

O-line is trash besides Kolton Miller, who funny enough has had a solid career after many thought Gruden reached when they drafted him at #15.

The Cowboys defense has allowed 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns through the air the last 3 weeks. I can't imagine historically a team has done any worse. You might not even see that in Madden.

Ties are the worst. I didn't watch this entire game, but I remember watching the entire 49ers-Rams game back in like 2012 that ended in a tie. Felt like I just wasted 4 hours of my life.

What's crazy to me is there are some players who literally don't know games can end in a tie, something I knew since I was 9 years old. Najee Harris was a rookie so while still ridiculous, I could give him a pass. But Donovan McNabb was like in his 10th season and he somehow didn't know that.

No logical reason to do a tie. Play another quarter first team scores wins.
