it wouldn't be wise to underestimate them. once the smoke clears any other players in the region would have their own interests in seeing the iran regime staying in place as long as possible as they likely see themselves as being next on our list. especially countries that are sympathetic to the palestinian cause. outside of the region, you have powerful countries that have their own interests in not seeing iran destroyed and the us assuming control of those oil fields that their economies rely on. there's no telling what may take shape in stalling things out and getting iran back in the game.. again, that's why time is critical. israel and the us realize this and the pressure to take action because of it should be obvious. they want this over and done with, not having to strike them again and again hoping for the best.

I was already losing faith in Trump when the strikes first happened, really thought it was going to spill into an all out war. I will gladly condemn Trump if we ever do go to war with Iran, but I don't see it happening. He got what he wanted.
