When the Lakers traded for Luka it wasn't to win right now. It turned out better than expected when they went on that little run in February/March then people overreacted because the playoffs are a different beast where more is required you. Especially time.

If this was LeBron's last game, he went out with a wimper.

Pippen cost his teams plenty of series. 2000 WCF comes to mind.
