Magic Johnson admitted he had been sleeping with 300-500 people a year.

Ok, so I've been lurking in this thread for a few days and now I'll add my 2 cents.

I'm a 23 year old black kid from an LA suburb (Diamond Bar). When I was younger, until I was about 6, my mother had a gay best friend named Herbert. As many know, its pretty common for women to have gay male friends that they hang out with. Herbert had AIDS, and was getting really sick. He died that year, 1992, I believe.

Well years later, when I was in my teens my mother told me a story of how in the late 80's she was hanging out with Herbert in LA at one their mutual friends houses. (another gay guys house). She told me she saw big S Class Benz pull up in the driveway and drop off one of the guys who lived there, (another gay guy). My mother asked who the guy in the Benz was, and they replied "Magic, Magic Johnson."

My mother wasn't totally surprised, she told me she had heard stories and rumors before, but she was semi-amazed that he really "hung out" with these guys. Now years later of course most of these guys are dead from AIDS, so there's kind of no proof. But believe me guys, I swear on everything I believe in this is the story my mother told me. She doesn't lie either, especially when it comes to anything that involved her best friend Herbert.

I will agree that Woods has been hurt more by the ridiculous level of coverage in the modern era but my whole point is that celebrity infidelity has existed for not just years, not just decades, but sneturies, since the dawn of mankind really. Heck you can read about David and Uriah's wife in the Bible. The reaction to Woods was insanely excessive.

My job isnt to prove Magic is not gay. That is the accusers job. I just read why they feel the way they do and it comes across silly. Why is Michael Jordan not accused of being gay? No possibility he is gay? He wore an earring in his ear. And if he ever tested positive for HIV he'd keep it private. What would announcing it do for him? I think MJ tested positive for HIV but wont reveal it. I demand to see HIV test results, now! :rant
