Tim Duncan. 100 freethrows before every game.
Shooting free throws isn't "working your ass off"... Duncan is a legend and all, but he's not the animal Kobe is when it comes to his obsession with basketball/fitness.

I am Lakers fans, I am glad Lakers make it again this year.
But watching nash crying makes me feel sad.
With no doubt, Grant Hill, Coach Gentry and Steve Nash did a pretty decent job this year. Gotta appreciate their work.
HAHAHHA
that lil b*tch
I wouldn't be able to accept him winning a ship over Kidd. Think he deserves it more
Why would you feel sorry for Kidd? He should have learned to do what all good point guards can; score or at least shoot.
HAHAHHA
that lil b*tch
Nash is a sensitive warrior. We've all witnessed his warrior side, and now we're witnessing his sensitive side. He's the ultimate human being/role-model.
How you feel or don't feel hardly matters here. This Suns team overachieved mainly because Nash is a terrific point and shooter. The Magic underachieved and Carter was a no show, and you casually throw in the Carter card like it actually means they're equal. No they're not. Not even close. That's pretty much a given. Deal with it.
As for the doesn't deserve a ring part, he's certainly more deserving than any other point guard in the west this year that's for certain, and certainly more than Vince Carter ever been.
This is bullshit.
Nash had a good series.
But it seems like you're giving him too much credit.
Dudley and Dragic played great and most times it was with him on the bench.
Gentry coached a good series.
The Magic might have lost to the best TEAM in the playoffs, with the toughest team defense.
Their superstar in still in that phase where he hasn't figured the mental aspect of the game game yet and to his credit it harder for big men in the league {I can see it taking another year}.
Nash hasn't done anything that Nash hasn't and all bullshit aside they were better with Dragic on the court a lot of the time.
I just don't see why Nash DESERVES something he hasn't earned.
He's a great player and all but as the fan of another team I'm not going ride his jock and ignore the glaring holes in his game. GLARING.

The ultimate human being would stick some mother-loving defense.:confusedshrug:
amirite?
:oldlol:
What glaring holes in his game? His man to man defense. That's basically it. His help defense is adequate and better than most if anything. So you're getting on him about one flaw in his game.
You and Phoenix will honestly always find a reason to hate Nash.
he gets paid millions of dollars to play a kids game and hes crying because he couldnt get a ring that he could buy on ebay?
...
Ahhh seeing Nash cry makes me feel better about 06/07

I critique every other player why is it hate when I point out that Nash had a system set up to utilize his skills and has had good teams around him in MVP season and has still come up short because he is a one way player.
He might have made some mistakes maybe he should have taken less money and played with a #1 option or went to a team that has a shot blocker or good team D.
It's clear a ring might not be in the cards for him but be honest...what "superstar" has won a ring and not been able to make an impact on D at all essentially?

Y'know, that's a good point.
I mean, yeah he does play hard, but as the old adage goes: "Defense wins championships."
Phoenix should've really focused on getting a shot blocker to cover up some of Steve's mistakes.

If this is a serious post, you need to douse your face in gasoline and place it directly near a burning stove.
I always hated the guy, but just as i a player and what he did against the Lakers. I have a lot of respect for this guy and it did look sad when he cried. And to all the idiots calling him a wuss or something... Nothing wrong with showing some emotion. Nash did all he could all series long and you can't blame him for losing this series. After all guys he is 37 years old and playing at this level, don't you think that's amazing?
