Re: ITT: We post examples of great footwork in gif form
to become a go to guy at the end of games you have to have offense that can beat great defense..
It's not just that ...
In the playoffs teams run players off the three point line.
They don't do that in the regular season, cause no one has the energy to do that for a whole season.
They run players off the 3 ball, and build a wall around the basket. So it's more difficult to get to the hoop, and shoot the easier shots LeBron is known to take.
In the playoffs as you go ... midrange is where you have to make your living. And there is only a few players left in the league with the offensive skill and IQ to understand that is where you have to make stuff happen.
Re: ITT: We post examples of great footwork in gif form
Clearly this dude doesn't understand or play ball.
are you serious? seems like you're the one that doesnt understand or play ball if you cant see the travel in that move (although its not that obvious). His pivot foot is the left foot but after he spins he lifts up his left foot while his right foot is still on the ground.

If he took off with both feet at the same time it would be a legal move. Now stop trying to correct someone when you clearly wrong. Same goes for that catch24 guy

I explained verbatim ... meaning with words why it wasn't. Explain to me how it is a travel.

This is true, but he jumps off both feet ...
It's the way he rotates on the reverse pivot that throws the eye off.
He jumps off the pivot foot as well.
Re: ITT: We post examples of great footwork in gif form
lol that kobe move on salmons is a travel. he picks up his pivot foot while keeping the other foot on the ground. how is this even arguable?
prob wasnt called because it looks like a preseason game

no he doesnt... just admit you're wrong. If i knew how to freeze that gif just at the right moment you would see his left foot lifted while his right foot is still touching the ground.
Like i said its not an obvious travel but it is one
Re: ITT: We post examples of great footwork in gif form
I'm a fan of Kobe's footwork but that's a travel.
He stablishes left foot pivot but jumps off of right foot alone. It's so quick that the refs won't call it.

Beautiful!
I loved Shaq's footwork back in the day, too bad he didn't make a try to work on it during his career. Not that he really needed doing moves like that to score, he was dominant enough doing his basic stuff but he wouldn't have crappy players trying to take charges if he'd move like that during his later years.

See if you can ... because as it stands it looks like to me that he jumps of both feet.
At least slow the video down and it would give a better perspective.

Its a Travel, and if you slow the video down and still didnt see it then you should get ur eyese check son.
Also that Shaq Gif is a travel as well, not magnified as Kobes gif but Shaq did the samething.
Bottom line These days I rarely see refs call this type of travels ever since LeBron start doing the Crab Dribble which is FAR FAR obvious.
LeBrons working on Lobster Dribble right now after he disappeared.
Re: ITT: We post examples of great footwork in gif form
the lebron, kobe and shaq gifs are definitely travels.
Re: ITT: We post examples of great footwork in gif form
great footwork right here

Still don't see how it's a travel. Didn't move his pivot foot -- why would it matter if he jumped with it? Makes zero sense.
