At what point in the video is there a one dribble at the rim finish off a standing catch at the 3 point line?
Have you even watched the video. The exact same move that you are complaining is very well known post move and if you really think you cant get a layup with one dribble from just inside the 3pt line well you dont know basketballl
I am 5'10 and 220lbs and i can get to the rim with one dribble from that distance.

No one is saying the post move isnt legit. As for you or anyone else doing it, not from an NBA 3 point line distance and definately not without traveling. With 2 dribbles yes. No way in hell with just 1.

I don't care about a best of Kobe layup video where he performs the same traveling move from the 3 point line that isn't called. Go find a vid of an NBA player that is not a superstar performing that move from a stand still catch on the NBA 3 point line who isn't called for the travel on a single dribble finish at the rim. No one is trolling, you just don't understand the difference between what is a travel and what is not.
Meh. He traveled.
BUT..
a.) An NBA superstar will NEVER get that called against them, especially in the remaining three seconds of the clock.
B.) If you've been watching a lot of the games lately, you'll notice that travelling has been called a lot more frequently, but always on the perimeter on a shuffle-step and NEVER, NEVER ON THE DRIVE. I've seen plenty of fast breaks and drives where players will take FOUR steps and not called for traveling.
So fcuk it. It isn't like Miami will ever miss the finals until at least 2016 anyway..
EDIT: yea what straight_ballin above me just said
its not travel :confusedshrug:
just variation of crab dribble :confusedshrug:

You were trying to defend it as not being a travel by posting drills of it being taught! Post a vid of a regular player in the NBA doing that move and not getting called for it.
this is not a travel according to NBA rules by any means...that first step before dribbling never gets called in NBA (as opposed to FIBA) and after that he took two steps anyway. Case closed:cheers:
lol lebron haters hit a new low again. damn.
Euroleague would be proud of you guys. It is funny how everytime LeBron "travels", so many fans of Euro ball come up.
This simply isn't a travel in NBA. Every player in the league can do this and they do this.
