DeNiro isn't even a "Hollywood" guy. He was born in Greenwich Village and, even today lives in Manhattan. He has always called New York home, even at the height of his popularity (lived in Marbletown, NY for a long time).

He's a New Yorker, first and foremost. His acting career obviously puts him in Hollywood, but he doesn't fit the mold ... at all.

Just think about what being a catholic priest entails and it is obvious why it draws such a large percentage -- relatively speaking -- of sexual offenders.

1. It gives adult men an automatic out as to why they have no sexual interest in other adults. 2. The leader of a church congregation obviously has a never-ending supply of children to assault. Really religious families will often even reach out to the church to help with issues their kids may be having.

3. The church obviously wields tremendous power in the local community, nationally and internationally.

The priest molestation thing gets wildly overblown. Not that it isn't a big deal that affect A LOT of kids, but I think it's entirely possible that more kids get diddled in paedowood than all the diocese in the US. Of course it's not something we'll ever get a definitive answer to.

If it's Charlie Sheen, it wouldn't really be the sort of shocking revelation they're hyping up. He's too obvious a villain.

In any case, Hollywood is long overdue for a major investigation to catch those predators like they did in the UK.

There might be an investigation underway we don't know about, but the pressures must be enormous. It's not just that we're dealing with wealthy, powerful individuals... this has the potential to permanently damage Hollywood's reputation (and therefore undermine American influence in the world).

In the era of leaks, the truth is bound to come out anyway, so they'd better get ahead of the story...

Martin Sheen is not a Hollywood A-Lister and I rank two of his movie as among the best of all time. Also Feldman was jealous of the money he was making. That's Charlie.

Also Martin is pretty well known for Justice advocacy and his politics, they probably would have thrown that in the blind item.
