Azubuike ranked among the best leapers at any position in the pre-draft process having recorded an impressive 41-inch vertical leap, the fourth highest of any player measured. His 37 inch standing vertical leap was the second-highest of any player measured.
sounds like he's an athlete. Rudy on his way out? The tank in the near future?
Like most second-round pick rookies, Hughes joins the Jazz without a guaranteed contract. However, he should be a safe bet to make the roster on a low-cost rookie deal.
the other two way I would imagine

And there is a significant difference between my criticisms of Conley and AdMan’s criticisms of Gobert:
Gobert is worth his contract.

Steven Adams is a better version of the locker room fit the Pelicans were hoping to get with Derrick Favors last year. Professional who does the inglorious stuff and was beloved by his longtime organization. But Adams is much more vocal and eager to mix it up w/ opponents.

but can he spot up from the corner?

Rather have the starting 4. All sorts of guys out there they could have had cheaper that fit better. George Hill you now will be traded again from OKC. Rather have him than Clarkson and you already know his fit. Jazz and their loyalty and sentiment hurts them again. They had a chance to be a special team and instead they probably got a little better. Depends on how much Favors is on the floor with Rudy and how much can get the ball out of Clarkson's hands

Seeing the De’Anthony Melton and Kris Dunn deals and you get a sense of why signing Trent Forrest makes sense for the Jazz. Elite defenders with some playmaking chops still have a spot in the NBA. Low cost gamble on a two-way deal.
He makes sense because pg was the number 2 thing they needed in the draft and they didn't get one with the 2nd pick. Sounds like he's Rubio at a cheap price. Maybe he can even finish?
Favors said he is fine with whatever role. “Whatever it is, coming off the bench, starting, I’m cool with it,” he said. “I’ve been in this league a long time. I’ve made money, I’ve played on different teams and been in different situations. At this point of my career, I just want to win. I’m super excited to be coming back to Utah. I enjoyed my time in New Orleans. I loved playing on a really good young team. But right now, I just felt like this was the situation that I needed to be in.” – via Tony Jones @ The Athletic
If the Jazz are just barely under the tax
I don’t think anything else will happen. There is no player that is worth starting the repeat for the luxury tax that is worth the BAE. Next year they are definitely paying the tax so staying under this year is very important.

Clarkson and Favors in the corner certainly aren't worth paying tax. I like the young guys from last year. What they are missing is a starting 4
Still think more can be done
Trade Tucker and Niang for a bigger Combo Guard.
Try and send to Atlanta for cap space
Posted by AdMan59 on Nov 21, 2020 | 12:55 PM

No need to. They have 3 exceptions and those guys are partial and non guaranteed though Niang needs to be guaranteed soon I imagine? I like both of them so it needs to be someone worth getting.

Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, Portland, Utah, Houston, Golden State. If we assume the LA teams are locks, one of these seven HAS to finish out of the top eight (even though that matters less now obviously). Pretend that everyone is healthy. Who's No. 9?
