Well of course. Ja Morant is not the root of society's ills. He is a stupid symptom. Which means he has a responsibility to his money to stop being stupid. Were it not for his celebrity he would just be another pointlessly thuggish idiot. Bad for society but certainly not national news.
Whatever he's done recently isn't ethical for the league at all. The officials are already making him eat his own shit. It's just getting started and they're gonna make sure that he's going to reap what he sowed.
Long story short, Ja is a typical muhrican

I just don't see the need for this uproar. Ja basically exposed himself as an idiot, but did anyone think of him as a good example before? Should we really expect from NBA players to be examples of anything else except playing basketball?
btw I don't see this as the same case as Kyrie. Kyrie likes to portray himself as some intellectual and philosopher, so when he spreads nazi narratives his followers would listen. Ja is just an idiot who acts as an idiot. Nobody will want to become a "gangsta" because they want to be like Ja.

Ja and his crew are pointing guns at people, assaulting minors and securities guard and making videos flashing guns and you don't see the uproar. I guess someone has to get killed before you understand this is a big deal and if ignored sends the wrong message to millions of young people.
Please explain what Nazi narratives Kyrie is spreading because most people I hear making these claims never watched the movie Kyrie shared a link to.

lol yeah sure Ja flashing guns is going to make a difference in a country literally flooded by guns. :oldlol:
The movie Kyrie shared a link to says that Jews are bad. thats a basic nazi narrative.

Police are investigating now, so if he broke the law, he'll pay the consequences.

A link to a movie still widely acceptable. Not even words that came out of his mouth or his fingers. But his point stands because of how he was treated thereafter.

People look up to people that they see on TV. Especially people with status, such as Ja Morant. Whether he is an idiot or not is irrelevant to the fact that he has elevated societal status. There's a reason these shoe companies pay these guys millions of dollars. People irrationally worship people they see on TV. You should know, you have this exact thing going on with Derrick Rose.

Carelessly waving guns in a public and pointing guns at people lead to avoidable deaths. That is a seperate issue from the amount of guns in America. Just because alcohol is sold everywhere doesn't mean you should promote drinking and driving or we should condone it in soceity because we know how deadly drinking and driving is.
You clearly never watched the movie Kyrie shared the link to. The premiss of the movie is black people are the original jews, the people in the bible were people of color. Ashkenazi Jews aka European Jews were converts with no traceable lines to the 12 tribes. This is contraversial and a limited viewpoint because historically Jews were a nomadic people who lived a mixed with several different ethnic groups over thousands of years.
Jews can belong to any race but the question the film raised is why are the only people recogonized as the chosen people today Europeans when the majority of Jews were people of color.
FYI, the Nazi's studied and adopted America's system of segregation against black people as a model to marginalize Jews in Germany.

Maybe. But David Stern was far more of a disciplinarian unafraid to hammer down his fist. Adam Silver is a bit soft. Guess we'll see.

He probably sees him as a potential cash cow in the future. That's why.
But anyway, when i said 'officials', i was also referring to the officers who will be investigating his 'crime' in colorado. Not just from the league itself. Will be interesting to monitor this story closely.
