Crazy its confirmed like this. Is lebron barred from the hall of fame now or do we not care about that for basketball
Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
Even when LeBron was on the Heat, I remember there was lots of discussion on this board and other boards that LeBron at times seemed to not be himself and just seemed "off" and not as explosive athletically for random stretches, which looking back at it now seems like a tell tale sign of cycling on/off PEDs.
I would guess as the years have gone on and the PEDs have evolved, he's probably gotten his cycle/stack down to a science so that the dips are minimal if he is using.
I remember this as well. He was really slow and plodding … quickness and burst wise in 2011. Couldn’t get by defenders at all off the dribble or triple threat without picks.
Then of course the weird random super dramatic weight loss to start the 2014 - 2015 season, before he came back to Cleveland. Which just happened to coincide with a new drug testing policy from the players union. He looked meager athletically all of a sudden in the first several weeks of the season. Couldn’t dunk and was jagging layups. Then in January takes a random two week vacay to Miami and comes back and is automatically super explosive athletically again.
It’s not coincidence.
I think where there is smoke, there is fire. And yes the drugs have probably got better and more sophisticated with time. His body and for all intents and purposes minimal regression athletically from 2015 - Now, makes it more than obvious he’s got to be on something.
Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
Modern PEDs focus more on recovery and endurance as opposed to peak performance. This wasn't the cast a few decades ago.
As an ESPN insider, I have some sway with them. I just sent this to ESPN.
What did ESPN say?

Quite mysterious indeed.
Here's the story behind the 2-week break that turned LeBron James' season around

LeBron was going to play, and LeBron just decided, 'I'm not gonna play.' Like, at the last minute, he told them, 'I'm not playing.' Didn't even come out to the bench, just sat in the back, didn't come out."
Windhorst says the Cavaliers' brass was stunned.
"[James] had sort of just like waved a bit of a white flag there. He just didn't feel like playing. He had never done that ever before. He had always just played through it. And so it was after that game, [the Cavaliers] said, 'Alright, take your two weeks off,' because he had reached a very low point."

James returned from his two-week break in Miami on January 13 to play the Phoenix Suns. The Cavs lost that game, pushing them to 19-20, but James had his best game of the season to that point, totalling 33 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Since that game, that Cavs have gone 29-7, while James has averaged 24.5 points, 48.5% shooting, six rebounds, and seven assists per game.

Nobody is quite sure why James' two-week break turned around his season. He does seem healthier and more explosive. If it was just fatigue and simple aches that he was dealing with, then two weeks may have been enough to revitalize him.
Oh I know, I remember it quite well. Visibly he looked like he aged well 10 years from June 2014 during the Finals.
And this coincided with weight loss under the guise of a random try hard experiment diet (right before the season?!) with the new drug testing policy.
Is pathetic athletically and looks to have very visibly regressed, and then two weeks in Miami suddenly and shockingly and came back looking like an entirely different player. Back to his normal.
And it’s been that way ever since. Minimal regression athletically until the past 2 seasons where if you know what you’re watching or seen him his entire career, it’s quite visible even if minimal overall.
He looked like shit in 2011 with a testing policy going on that season as we. Out of any NBA superstar ever, with the exception of the very obvious 2003 and 2005 weight gains from Kobe, never has their been seasons more obvious a megastar was visibly on something.

He said he was on some paleo diet eating a bunch of fish and that was the reason he lost tons of muscle mass and always looked drained.

How does LeBron look now on 2023 coming back from an injury just 3 games ago?

I think this is the wrong perspective. A lot of these issues aren't due to a lack of explosiveness or quickness. It's due to a lack of stamina. That's where EPO comes in.

It’s also crazy sports media or just news in general is not covering this big discovery. You would think a budding journalist could benefit from such a controversial fact coming to light and exposing a league that has allowed it and may have even tried to sweep it under the rug.
Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
Wouldn’t be surprised if lebron fakes an injury during elimination game
Re: ESPN Insider Accuses LeBron James Of Using Performance Enhancers
I find it hilarious a lot of the Kobe and Jordan fans think their heroes weren't on it as well.
82 games + another 20 for playoffs - back to back to back, and you think these guys are doing it without some illegal substances? What is the incentive? Oh nothing... Just a couple hundred million dollars.
All your fav athletes are on something.
