Russell Brand accused of raping 4 women between 10-17 years ago

I'm not a fan of Russell Brand and he does seem like an annoying dick but I'm also a big believer in innocent until proven guilty.

So far these are just accusations. Haven't read the details or anything but cancelling anyone for accusations is crazy because anyone can make accusations

Nah he's obnoxious to the extreme. I couldn't stand him prior to his political awakening and I only mildly tolerate him now as a result. I'm glad he's getting the message out but I still get second hand embarrassment watching him sometimes.

Look Brand may be innocent. There’s no way to know either way tbh. But I do find it ironic since he’s supposedly a socialist that all the people on ISH insisting he’s a cool guy are far-right. Granted I’m the only regular on here who’s far-left, but socialist Twitter sure isn’t a fan of him either fwiw. I just find it hard to believe this guy is actually some communist because when have far-right people ever defended a communist?

I guess I should apologize to RRR3. I now realize that perhaps he's not trolling.

I just wish he could see that all these political labels oversimplifies and misrepresents the average nuanced beliefs of others. Not all people within a particular label are imbued with identical convictions.

One of the reasons why RRR3 may have unsettled me and gave me such a bad vibe is because people who categorize everything into rigid groups tend to love chaos and polarization. They tend to like to divide and conquer. They tend to promote numerous conflicting beliefs with little room for common ground, and this can lead to a divisive atmosphere. They tend to promote the idea of numerous opposing beliefs with little room for common ground. And such people are very diabolic.
