All of the elections last night were in deep blue territories that democrats were projected to win in anyway, but they are so desperate for any morsel of victory after being starved for so long that you will end up seeing a lot of posts like the one above.

I remember when Newscum won his recall vote back in '21 and democrats all across Twitter were celebrating and declaring it was proof that the country had moved on from Trump. We made fun of them back then too. What happens in NY, CA... all these deep blue havens... is not an accurate reflection of what's going on in the rest of the country. Commie Mamdani could have only ever won in a deep blue territory.

But be careful what you wish for liberals, he is the face of your party now. You're the party of wokism and communism now. The age of the moderate democrat is officially over. I know you're excited because you finally scored a touchdown here but you should really check the scoreboard. Trump and the republicans are going to have a field day, and now the insanity of the far left will be on display for the entire world to see. The establishment democrats are going to have a huge choice to make. It's very telling that so many of the top democrats refused to even endorse him. Deep down I bet a lot of them were hoping Cuomo would pull it out.

As someone who was born and raised in NY and still has tons of family and friends there, it pains me that this is the way things are now. But the good news is that Commie Mamdani is just a mayor and won't be able to deliver on an any of the things his campaign promised, and he'll have even less support from both the state and federal branch. Thank god Donald Trump is president because if The Cackler had won we would be on the verge of losing the entire country and we really WOULD see these cities become communist, and they would have full support. The 2024 election will prove to be the most important election of our lifetime I think.

Finally, to the libs in here celebrating, I think it's really foolish of you guys to support someone just because you have a crush on them. Policy should always win at the end of the day, but when it comes to people like highwhey, burning hammer, blade... they're only concerned with who's the most handsome and who gets them the most moist in the pants. Not long ago Cuomo was the democrat heart throb, but now you have this guy Commie Mamdani who's younger and more handsome, with his neat and lined up beard... and they just lose their minds. People joke and say they should have never given women the right to vote because they're so illogical and emotional, but I'm starting to think that maybe gay people should be lumped into that too. Men who vote with their dick are just as bad as women who vote with their emotions.

Yesterday I saw clips of MTG on The View, and I thought for sure she was gonna go on there to argue with those hags and make them look foolish, but no she went on there to bash MAGA and basically kiss their ass. I don't think that being on the right means you have to have undying loyalty for Trump, but when you find yourself aligning with the worst of the worst... it should be cause for concern.

She was spot on in saying that everyone needs to express thier ideas in a civil way, be adult and kind, not insult each other, etc. Which is the entire problem with Trump and "mean tweets". He got everyone to act "un-civil". Words matter, especially the words of a leader.

I do think we are approaching an era where everyone is just getting tired and worn out of all the childish bashing, and we are ready to move out from that and view it as a dark phase that sprouted from not being used to social media.

Not even 1/10th of what it is now. There was no political forum here before Trump, one had to be created because the OTC was overwhelmed with political threads and other threads about music or movies or whatever were ignored completely. There might have been a random thread here and there about Obama but it was nothing even remotely close to what sprouted from Trump.

Trump's entire reputation going into his first term was the "you're fired!" persona. No civil discourse, just "do what I say or else!" That show basically got ratings on his persona of being an asshole boss. He brought that persona with him into the White House, and it doesn't work when trying to unite a country as one. It does the opposite.
