The Gaetz case was pretty weak to begin with other than to expose him as a drug fueled frat boy with little self control or moral compass. The accuser never even pursued the lawsuit other than trying to get a quick 2.3mil out of him . When he refused, she dropped it. If she didn't think a civil lawsuit would nail him down then there's little chance criminal charges would. And even if he did have sex with her, she already admitted to lying about her age which exempts him from prosecution unless she's 14-15 or under, depending on what state your in.
