BREAKING NEWS: Vince McMahon and John Laurenitis Involved In A Sexual Affair with Former WWE Employee. Hush Money Paid. Multiple Previous Incidents Being Looked Into.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting the WWE Board of Directors is looking into a secret $3 million settlement that longtime chief executive Vince McMahon agreed to pay to a departing employee with whom he allegedly had an affair, according to documents and people familiar with the board inquiry.
A January 2022 separation agreement agreed upon by the unnamed woman and the WWE bars the now-former employee, who was hired as a paralegal in 2019, from discussing her relationship with Mr. McMahon or disparaging him, the people said.
The board's investigation, which began in April, has unearthed other, older nondisclosure agreements involving claims by former female WWE employees
of misconduct by Mr. McMahon and one of
his top executives, John Laurinaitis, the head of talent relations at WWE, the people said. The Journal couldn't
determine how many previous agreements were being scrutinized.
The 3,000,000 was discovered by Board Members after a series of anonymous emails from someone claiming to be a friend of the Paralegal.
The first email, sent to board members on March 30, alleged that Mr. McMahon, 76 years old, initially hired the woman at a salary of $100,000 but increased it to $200,000 after beginning a sexual relationship with her. The email to the board also alleged that Mr. McMahon "gave her like a toy" to Mr. Laurinaitis. The board is investigating the allegations in the email, the people familiar with the inquiry said.
"My friend was so scared so she quit after Vince McMahon and lawyer Jerry paid her millions of dollars to shut up," the initial email to the board said, referring to Mr. McMahon's longtime lawyer, Mr. McDevitt, who negotiated the deal, according to people familiar with the board inquiry.
The Company tells WSJ that relationship was consensual and is cooperating with the inquiry

Vince has done many shitty things in the past, covering up Jimmy Snuka's murder, covering up Pat Patterson's ring boy scandal, steroid trial, etc. He escaped them all.
I don't think this one will take him down.

Forbidden Door was amazing, maybe one of the best PPV events ever.
WWE has officially signed Logan Paul. He will wrestle with the Miz again in upcoming Summerslam event.
The card for Jim Crockett Promotion Presents: "Ric Flair's Final Match":

Pretty much all top promotions from WWE (via Jeff Jarrett) to MLW and even AAA and NJPW are on it. Another Forbidden Door event this year.
Vince McMahon has retired from WWE, giving his everyday duties to Stephanie and Nick Khan as new co-CEOs while Triple H as EVP of talent relations.

Sasha Banks and Naomi have reached a deal to return to WWE.
Triple H Era is in full force.
Since Triple H taking control, WWE has brought Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross and Scarlett back.
Some banned and restricted words Vince set up like "fans" ("WWE universe" is used instead), "wrestlers" ("superstars" is used instead) and "wrestling" have also been un-banned.
John Laurinaitis has been officially out of WWE now. He is one of the suspects, along with Vince McMahon, in the hush money scandal that has already brought Vince down.
Over 90,000 tickets for WrestleMania 39 at SoFi Stadium in LA next year have been sold in the last 24 hours. Excellent number for WWE.
NXT UK will be on hiatus and repackaged as NXT Europe in 2023. Many NXT UK wrestlers have been released along the process.
Also, Shawn Michaels has been promoted to WWE Vice President of Talent Development Creative. Shawn has been deeply involved in NXT, both original and 2.0, for quite a long time until now that his best pal Triple H has risen to the top spot in WWE hierarchy. Congrats to him. :applause:

They actually had Punk squashed to Moxley. There has to be the masterplan behind it, right?
Wrestling was good in the 90's.
Shits going down in AEW with the Punk, Young Bucks, Omega stuff.
Shits going down in AEW with the Punk, Young Bucks, Omega stuff.
They have been all suspended and stripped from their titles (Punk's AEW champ, Elite's Trios champs). A new tournament is set to crown a new AEW champ at Arthur Ashe Stadium event very soon.
That's a good decisive decision from Tony Khan.
Random but I'm still amazed that The Miz was able to go from MTV real world to being a WWE star
It's 2022 going into 2023 and Chris Jericho is still the best mic worker in the business.

Not as many talents as before. WWE randomly from time to time gets Brock Lesnar, but other than that it's boring.

It was great tuning in to see Brock whenever he returned, they ended up butchering his feud with Lashley, could've been better.AJ Styles is easily one of my favorites, was following him since he was in TNA,haven't really watched current WWE in a few years
so I'm not sure what he's up to now.But when I was consistently watching him and Joe were my go-to's.
For Japan I was into guys like Naito,Okada,Ishii and Suzuki.
I don't watch AEW but I did watch a few clips of CM Punk and MJF going back and forth.
Overall I stopped watching wrestling at least current products,I just watch the old shit from the 90s/early 00s.
Been watching Impact! on Plex. Seen The Dudley Boys (Team 3D), Big Poppa Pump, Christian, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Sting etc.
First time I seen any wrestling in years. What the hell happened? Why are all these people on "Impact!"? I think it's TNA? Pretty sure I remember all those guys being with some other company though?

TNA has changed its brand to Impact Wrestling since the owner change few years ago. The roster has been changing a lot since too. People have come and go, both new and old. Bully Ray aka Bubba Ray has just returned to Impact recently.
TK is really doing the same thing Vince did when he bought WCW and jobbing the ROH talent to his guys :lol
TK is really doing the same thing Vince did when he bought WCW and jobbing the ROH talent to his guys :lol
Technically, ROH is Tony Khan's though. He bought it with his own money while AEW is his and other investors (Warner Bros Discovery allegedly be among them).
TK is trying to boost ROH value for upcoming TV/streaming/whatever deals by having a major storyline running with Jericho vs ROH thing. He surely has some workers to be the core of the promotion in mind while featured other possible additions. Dalton Castle's work yesterday was great. We will get to see Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and Maria being featured soon. Jericho's feud with all past ROH champions also give possibility of more talents to fill other roles. PCO, American Wolves, Homicide, Nigel McGuinness, etc. are available.
Who is the greatest technical wrestler?
Angle
Malenko
Bret
Danielson
Benoit
Mr.Perfect

I think he is the best of those GOAT technicians considering how fast he rose the rank from ECW appearance to the WWE champion.
What a match Logan Paul vs Roman Reigns.

Logan Paul just announced he has suffered a torn meniscus, MCL & ACL.
How the heck he even walk let alone perform with an MCL/ACL injury?

Yo BurningHammer, which WWE Superstars past and present do you find charismatic besides the typical names like Hogan, Savage, Austin or Rock? (Tag teams included)
