which was worse debacle of NBA SuperStar movement?
It was Kobe's fault.
dwightmare
Dwightmare. Decision was one show(a bad decision). Melodrama ended with Nuggets getting a good haul in return and have been succesful post Melo. Dwight screwed himself and the Orginization.
Decision hands down
melodrama
it went on during the season and affected the play of nuggets nets and knicks
the decision and dwightmare went on during off season
The Decision by far. Lebron went from one of the most loved athletes to the most hated in one fell swoop. Cleveland collectively burned his jerseys in effigy.
Melo is not good enough or important enough to have any affect on the league so it's really just between Dwightmare and the Decision.
Dwightmare is worse considering how he isn't fulfilling his contract, is only willing to go to one team, and how long this drama/nightmare has been going on. This has been going for about a year now, from the off-season to the season back to the off-season again.
LeBron was a free agent and could do whatever he wanted. He shouldn't be in the conversation.

Im pretty sure the Dwight stuff was going on during the season also.

How is Dwight not fulfilling his contract?
I doubt LeBron would have signed an extension with the Kings if the Cavs had decided to get the best possible package for him.

He is not trying to consider how he is asking for a trade request. LeBron fulfilled his contract. It's not Lebron's fault that his team's (Cavs) FO was not smart enough to make sure that if he wasn't willing to stay and re-sign with them, they would move him to get something in return opposed to getting nothing.
You can blame the Cavs FO for this disaster, not LeBron.

Get out, he was a free agent and had a TV show that raised $1m or something. Go tug a monkey doodle.
Howard/Melo crap is worse. Lebron was already being hated on for garbage. Lebron made fulfilling a contract and leaving as a FA bad, which all of a sudden made demanding a trade good, because it gave your team options. Total garbage.
Decision and it's primetime special can not be topped!
Lebron didn't have to inform them of anything.
What would the heat have given them in a sign and trade?
OH WAIT! They did do a sign and trade.
Did anyone consider that he may have been still considering if he wanted to stay?
Haters gon hate though.
