Nikola Tesla Appreciation Thread
Invented wireless technology
This is hands down the most influential technology of this century. Computers, cell phones, radio, etc. has shaped the world we live in.

Father of modern electricity
Another great invention. Sure Benjamin Franklin discovered atmospheric electricity, and Edison created the lightbulb and direct current, but Tesla took it one step further, inject it with aids, and powered the whole world with his alternate electric current. While Edison created many things, the lightbulb is the only thing that we use today and even that has been replaced by Tesla's flourescent bulb.
Honorable mention:
X-rays, lasers, robotics.
Technologies he patented and are still way ahead of our time:
Airplane - His airplane has no propellers or wings, uses atmospheric electricity to fly by itself. It can remain stationary and fly in any direction.
Artificial intelligence
Controlling the weather - since the air is charged and the earth is a bundle of energy, Tesla created a "fork" that could alter the atmosphere and cause earth quakes.
It is ashame education is ignoring this man and crediting his works to others simply becuase his ideas are so advance, the government feels the need to keep most of it top secret. When he died, they ransacked his apartment and stole all of his life's work. Telsa is unknown to many educated people, but he is by far the most influential man of this century.

Re: Nikola Tesla Appreciation Thread
OP its only the West that ignores him. Most of Europe knows who he was and what he acomplished, as they do in China, India etc. Its all about popularity, if he was American or English everyone would know about him.
How many people in America know about the great Middle Eastern minds of the Medievil Period compared to Leonardo Da Vinci?
Tesla is American bro. He ditched Serbia because it is shit and became an American citizen.
Same with Einstein:rockon:
Re: Nikola Tesla Appreciation Thread
Einstein was from Germany. Nikola Tesla was from Austria-Hungary.
Einstein was Jew, Tesla was Serb. Einstein is responsible for the A-Bomb, Tesla is responsible for everything cool in the world. America corrupted Einstein
Tesla revoked his serbian citizenship when he became an American citizen. Tesla is American.
He is ours.
Deal with it.
Re: Nikola Tesla Appreciation Thread
Tesla never had Serbian citizenship. He was from Austria Hungary and moved to America before Serbia liberated his hometown in World War 1.
Serbia : Back to back World War Champions!
USA are 2x world war champions, Serbia I guess would count as the towel boy and janitor so technically you deserve a winners medal too, sure...
Fact is Tesla is American. If he wanted to be Serbian, he would have stayed in Serbia. Instead he got the phuck out as soon as he could:bowdown:
A brave American, fleeing his homeland to join the land of the free:rockon:
