2021 Official All Time Draft Thread

Gonna take over the reigns here and try to FINALLY get this draft started :lol

I put all the participants in a randomizer and here's how the order came out

If someone no shows on their first pick, someone can sub for them by round 2.

Draft is in snake order

They'll be 10 players on each team. Any objections we can always shorten it if that's what the majority wants

Since we have posters from all over the world, the most fair way to do this is you have 12 hours to make a selection, if you miss it the next poster goes. After we pick our starting 5, we should shorten the selection time to 6 hours for our bench to speed things up

Anything that I missed or that you disagree with, please post it in the other thread. I'd like to try to keep this as a strictly drafting thread. If you're reading this, Gohan you're up

How can i get into this? Where do you get the players?

If someone drops out you'll be the first in line as a sub. We're eventually doing this on whatifsports.com

Just a heads up for those who don't know. Eventually when you make your team you will also have to select a season. So for instance Gohan took MJ as the #1 pick. He might pick the 90-91 version of Jordan. Note that sometimes in rare cases you don't want to take the "best version" but the one that fits your team best. For instance you probably don't want 61-62 Wilt if you have a team full of scorers.

I'm gonna try to stick with this order if I can. Worst case if people no show in the first round we can always adjust the order and have other people sub in by round 2

3 weeks is a pretty long time and he's someone who posts here rather frequently, so I just figured enough time had passed where I should take the initiative and start the draft myself. He missed his first pick, so you would be up next. Lebron23 can pick at any time

With no PM's it can be difficult to arrange these kinds of things, I'm doing the best I can to make this work lol. Hopefully the other posters show up and we can get things moving, if not, there should be enough people interested to sub in for them
