I'm sure I'm forgetting some players, but here's what mine would be.
Starters
Derek Harper
Desmond Bane
Mikal Bridges
Toni Kukoc
Arvydas Sabonis
Bench
Marcus Smart
Michael Cooper
OG Anunoby
Lamar Odom
Deandre Ayton

I'd probably start Odom over Kukoc for defense but that team looks like a contender for sure.
Great thread. I'm thinking something like:
Starters
PG - Rod Strickland
SG - Byron Scott
SF - Cedric Maxwell
PF - Marcus Camby
C - Deandre Ayton
Bench
SG - Michael Cooper
PG - Mike Bibby
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Happy Hairston
C - Serge Ibaka

Solid list. I'd put CJ McCollum over Michael Cooper though
I like this thread too. Going with only current players...
Starters:
Jamal Murray
Austin Reaves
Terry Rozier
Deandre Ayton
Evan Mobley
Bench:
Desmond Bane
Jordan Poole
Colin Sexton
Stephen Adams
Ivica Zubac
It's pretty tough to come up with a championship team out of people that have never been an all star. I was going to pick Brook Lopez, but even he made the all star team once. Hard to see the team above winning a championship, but with great chemistry, it's possible. They certainly have depth.

Why is Bane on the bench but Reaves and Rozier are starting? He’s way better than both.
Why is Bane on the bench but Reaves and Rozier are starting? He’s way better than both.
Well, obviously Reeves plays Lebron. No idea about Rozier though.

Reaves gives perimeter defense, and Rozier gives some scoring punch. I don't disagree that Bane is better, and I'd be fine swapping him out for Rozier as a starter. I wouldn't say he's way better though.
PG: Mike Bibby| Derek Harper
SG: Petrovic | Cooper
SF: Mikal Bridges | Richard Jefferson
PF: Lamar Odom | Sam Perkins
C: Sabonis | Ayton
Something like that.

Of course you are, we all know you don't know much about the league's history.
PG: Mike Conley | Derek Harper

Conley was an all star. Drazen had to be as well. These teams are struggling to get to the playoffs. They aren't winning anything. Where's Robert Horry?

Yea, forgot he made it a couple of years ago. Petrovic was never an All-star. Probably would have made one, but died pretty young.
I'll go with Mike Bibby to replace Conley. Always loved his clutch play. While the Kings were shitting themselves in that game 7 vs the Lakers in 2002, Bibby was the only player on Sacramento hitting big shots in crunch time.

Says the "historian" who didn't know about the Bulls/Pistons rivalry.
Nice try, Dudley.
As a matter of fact, I think it's more interesting using current players than mixing and matching players from different eras. But keep doing your thing. :applause:
