Donald Trump told his Transportation Secretary he wanted MIT 'geniuses' to be air traffic controllers. He said this at a meeting where Musk was of course trying to slash them across the board. Which, in 2012 would have been enough controversy to last until the midterms, at least. But in this shitshow of a political environment, it's just a footnote.

The blatant corruption and retarded movements on domestic policy is almost impossible to keep up with. Everything from Crypto Bros blatantly bribing the Trump family with $75 Million to get his SEC case dropped, to Trump disbanding apolitical federal panels that the Fed uses to actually educate themselves and make decisions based on GDP. GDP that will now not be measured by said panels after March 5th. Because Trump doesn't want the GDP measured anymore after the Atlanta fed says we are rapidly going into a recession.
