yoke about to lay it down isnt he
Re: (4) Nuggets vs. (5) Clippers First Round Playoff Series Thread
Clippers in 6*. They're really balanced and have too many weapons for Denver to match up with. Jokic may be the best player in this series (and the NBA), but nobody has guarded him better than Zubac. He should blunt his post-up efficacy somewhat.
* If Kawhi stays healthy.
Re: (4) Nuggets vs. (5) Clippers First Round Playoff Series Thread
Clippers in 6. They have been surging while Denver has been fading. To keep it simple, they just are the better team at the moment.

With all the turmoil in Denver,
And with how well Kawhi is playing lately…
They should win this on paper.
Why do I get the sense Kawhi will ball out for the first 3 games then sit out a game for knee soreness, and Murray goes off for 40, gives Denver momentum, and the clips wind up losing in 6/7 ?
Re: (4) Nuggets vs. (5) Clippers First Round Playoff Series Thread
Clippers in 6 because they've looked like the better team with Kawhi healthy and with Harden playing closer to his prime self post-ASB. IF Kawhi doesn't get injured they should win this series going away with Murray not being completely healthy and with Nuggets having no depth.
Re: (4) Nuggets vs. (5) Clippers First Round Playoff Series Thread
I think Clippers in 6 also. Zubac can guard Jokic better than most. I don't think Denver's defense will hold up.

This is true.
Nuggets are on their way out with the current roster/construction.
But Im hoping they still have enough here and/or a Yolk masterclass gets them through.
Healthy Clips def seem like a more formidable opponent for OKC though.
Kawhi gonna average 33 a game and then we get a random shams tweet about another Kawhi ACL injury in the middle of the series lol. Hoping not but at this point it has to be expected.
That's how I feel about it yeah, but honestly even if Kawhi gets injured in this series I think it'd be a close one because Denver can't defend at all and they don't have much depth and they have Westbrook, who's probably going to play significant minutes out of necessity. Jokic is going to have to work hard against Zubac as well.

I think some of yall are underestimating the power of Yolk.
Plus the chances playoff Harden shits the bed and kawhi gets injured.

Nuggets don’t have the defense on the perimeter to cause Harden problems. OKC will be another story.
