It doesn't appear to be attached to a criminal complaint yet. He might get canceled but whether or not he loses the case is another question. Nonconsensual sec with a girlfriend or wife happens but unless they come with some damming photos of abuse or strong third-party testimony is likely just his word vs hers. Which may also be why they're just going for the money in a civil case and not the higher standard of criminal court. If she was the girl from that(imo, intentionally) leaked audio then she could be entitled to something for just the embarrassment but the rape lawsuit goes a lot further than just that.

Civil court first? Kind of gives off the vibe that it’s more about settling than actually finding justice. If the accusations are legit, though, his career's probably done. It's a mess either way.

His career is definitely hurt and it Could cost him that ESPN spot if deemed legit. But the benefit to owning his non-ESPN shows is that so long as he isn't firing himself he can keep on putting stuff on the internet. Some sponsors will back out but a lot of peope will l see it as a cash grab or just not care and continue to support him. I think his career will survive without some major evidence because the woman kept on seeing him and sleeping with him throughout the alleged abuse.

These types of allegations aren't interesting to me unless there's some legit evidence against the person being attacked. For example if the hotel video of Diddy never came out and if they never found all those baby oil bottles I would question if Diddy ever did those things he's accused of, but after seeing those things you see what he's capable of and it makes it more believable.

So unless there's some type of evidence against Sharpe it's just going to end in a settlement probably.
