The LeBron fanbase is dying down
They aren’t as big anymore and aren’t as loud. That’s what it seems like. The ones that are left come across as trolls just trying to get attention. They have weak arguments and will say things such as “Jordan quit and played baseball.” These arguments aren’t working anymore.
Then you have the Lakers fans who say they don’t care if LeBron gets traded. You see now that they have less reason to root for LeBron, they no longer exaggerate his value as a player. Jordan had one all star and won 6 championships. LeBron had 7 all stars and won 4, even if you count the bubble. LeBron lost 6 championships. Shot 35 pct against the Spurs and got outscored by Jason Terry. Jordan would never shoot 35 pct on 6 turnovers and only score 22 and he would never get out scored by Jason Terry.

Some imagination you got there slugger.

I see what you did there:oldlol: now the whole post comes off as a tired self projection.
Re: The LeBron fanbase is dying down
Agree OP.
Furthermore, for Lebron to reach MVP-caliber and win 60 games in 2013 or 2009, he needed all-star spacers like Ray Allen or Mo Williams to open things up for his stiff-arm game.
Lebron's drive-heavy game and need for spacing is a weakness compared to mid-range kings that can shoot over packed paints (don't need spacing) like MJ, Kobe and SGA.
Other weaknesses of Lebron are offensive rebounding, FT's, turnovers, mid-range, clutch efficiency, off-ball, low assist teams/weak ball movement - he lowers teammates' assists by turning them into spot-up shooter (increasing their assisted rates).

Re: The LeBron fanbase is dying down
I don't know what you mean about not as loud. They're in full on desperation mode, being louder than ever about every little thing he does. Even pretending that he DIDN'T choke away the series against the Wolves. It's OK though. Once he retires and the hype machine dies off, no serious person will ever have him top 5 of all time.
Re: The LeBron fanbase is dying down
Try again. We're still going strong.
Re: The LeBron fanbase is dying down
He hasn't really won anything in like 5 years and most people put an asterisk on the bubble tournament anyway. The Lakers are Luka's team now. He's old. Younger guys like SGA are taking over as the face of the league.
It is what it is.
Wait till he's retired for a couple of years, there won't be much chatter on him at all.

Gonna be a sad wait for you guys then. Hes played 20 plus years and there is still no clear successor. Sports TV is basically centered around if he farted today or not. You guys here make daily topics about him still. Hes not going anywhere anytime soon, he'll still be torturing you guys dreams in 2040.
Re: The LeBron fanbase is dying down
It’s funny how the letiny stains used to cry about Kobe eating cap space when the lakers surrounded him with gleague trash.. my how the tables have turned:oldlol:

Only difference is LeBron is still one of the best players in the league and coming off an All-NBA selection at age 40.
Kobe was legit one of the worst players in the league his last 3 seasons in the NBA.

Only in your tiny mind. There's no case for him even being top 20 at this point.
