This would be a gigantic flex I have to say. Normally I would be apprehensive but I don't think Trump would have put this out there if he didn't already know it was happening. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Personally I think all of the libs on the site should donate their $2k check to Gaza relief. It's only right.

only plebs think a 2k check is great news given the circumstances of the terrible job the trump administration has done with the economy.

as i said in the first post, it's a meaningless check given the circumstances of less economic opportunity - also the widespread inflation issues.

it sounds like you're the one living in your parent's basement cheering for a 2k check while those of us with true fiscal responsibilities would much rather have a healthier economy as that is the true economic indicator of a nation's fiscal health.

Didn't the tariffs come from Americans tho? So let's say the tariffs cost the average American 5k a year. Is getting 2k back really a win?

Trump isn't inserting new money into the system and deflating the dollar, nor is he raising taxes to foot the bill. This money is being distributed solely from external revenue coming in from other countries.
