If Clippers blew it up, is there anyone you would even want?
They won't blow it up because tanking won't help since they owe all of their own picks.
But in an alternate reality where that wasn't true, I find it hard to believe anyone on their team has any value except for Zubac, and he's still somewhat challenging to build around as a big who doesn't shoot 3s and plays in a drop coverage.
Leonard is an always-injured diva with a meddling uncle and a radioactive status given the ongoing investigation
Harden is an old playoff choker likely wanting a final payday
Collins is an empty stats tank commander
Lopez and Batum are both extinct. CP3 is fossilized.
Bogdanovic is an oft-injured player on the wrong side off 30.
Derrick Jones Jr and Dunn are both solid pros with decent contracts, but DJJ is out for the next month plus and Dunn is a very streaky shooter.
Beal is out for the season, and a net negative when he plays.
This is one of the worst rosters in modern times from an individual player value perspective, for a team that had playoff hopes going into the season.
Re: If Clippers blew it up, is there anyone you would even want?
Kawhi, Collins, Dunn, Batum, Lopez, Zubac, Bojan, DJJ.
If you just wanted to say Beal, Harden and CP0 are a joke, we're with you there.
Re: If Clippers blew it up, is there anyone you would even want?
Dunn would help any team in league. Luka would love to have collins rim runnng. 3 level scorer. Double double guy. Im sure there is a need. Not sure why he and harden/paul arent doing anything?

I'm not suggesting every player in their roster is worthless overpaid scrubs. But, I am asking you to be realistic and tell me what these guy's values are.
Because the Clippers have no picks, the only way to dig their way out of their current mess is to trade.
So, the question is: if they're making everyone available what are those guys who you mentioned have value even worth?
Batum, Lopez, given their age, maybe a 2nd rounder and an expiring contract to a contender.
Bojan, he'd likely be traded for a fit/roster need replacement role player (ex, trading guard for big, etc.) and if you're lucky a 2nd. DJJ and Dunn would be more or less the same as Bogi. Maybe DJJ nets you two 2nds if a contender is desperate enough.
Collins on an expiring contract is not a sought after player. It's likely wherever he signs next will be for something close to the full non-tax MLE (~$14.2M). So there's no need to obtain his rights unless you're tax locked. I can't see any realistic scenario where he is worth a 1st without receiving a bad contract in return. So, with that said, it's a 2nd round pick or two at best.
Zubac is definitely a player you can trade and maybe even get a young player and a pick in return. He's the most valuable in my opinion from an individual level of ease.
Kawhi and Harden while super talented are land mines in a trade scenario. It's hard to peg what their value would be. I mentioned a lot about Kawhi already, but a compounding factor is he likely doesn't want to leave California or the close proximity. He has two rings and nothing else to gain.
Harden is an expiring contract and a player who asked for trades from the last 3 teams. You would have to be certain he wants to stay before trading for him, and likely need to try and convince him to opt in.

Collins isn't making much noise because he's a black hole that doesn't pass and can't defend.
Dunn is a solid pro, but not worth much in a trade.

I do wonder if the knicks would give up Anunoby for Leonard. The trade may not be possible due to second apron rules but if they did it they could still have enough talent to load manage Leonard to just a 30 game season while making the playoffs comfortably. Then once they're in the playoffs that would be a lot of talent to deal with and Leonard is also capable of defending any elite wing they come across.

Kawhi effectively has a no trade clause in the form of his bad knees. If doesn't want to play for a team, he can always feign injury like he did with the Spurs in the final months.
That said, I'm not sure he wants to play in the polar opposite coast of the US in a cold city. I get the impression he would let the Knicks know through back channels he doesn't want to be traded there.
From a Clippers perspective, they would probably want 2-3 FRPs included in that swap but would otherwise be happy with that trade. They get a player who is re-flippable and is the ultimate glue guy if they want to keep him.

Collins play making was improving last year and he tries to defend.
Dunn is a great defender, can get to the hole, make plays for others and hit open shots from a couple positions. Be an asset for any team.
Re: If Clippers blew it up, is there anyone you would even want?
Elton Brand or Sam Cassell.
Re: If Clippers blew it up, is there anyone you would even want?
The Celtics would gladly take Zubac.

If they can cut salary. I imagine they will be looking to get out of the tax

He has averaged more turnovers than assists nearly every year of his career. Also, 2 assists (matching his career high) is what you call an improvement? He averaged 2.6 turnovers to boot (a new career high). :facepalm

Its amazing how he loves Dunn for his defense but hates Jason Kidd for his offense even though Kidds offensive game blow dunns out the water and obviously was a more impactful defender :lol :facepalm
I really cant comprehend the incongruency. He hated Ricky Rubio too who was a very good defender and way better floor general than Dunn.

Dunn was out of league because he couldnt shoot. Now he can hit an oprn 3. A true pass first pg that has adapted to the modern game. What isnt to love? Shooting underc40% while taking the most shots on your team is not acceptable to me. Get over it. Not sure kidd was a better defender. Dunn is elite in a league where tou cant touch the opponent. If rubio came off the bench i might have liked him. Sadly he started. Couldnt throw a lob, couldnt shoot while pkaying behind the offensive player going for steals. He made some of the most what the **** are you thinking passes ive ever seen. High on energy. Low on bb iq and skills.
