[QUOTE]Carmelo Anthony intends to privately speak with Tyson Chandler about comments made by the latter about him being too selfish in Game 3.
"You want to take over the game or you want to make a big shot where you (should) stick to the game plan," said Chandler, not mentioning Anthony by name. "A good team wins basketball games. Unless you

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Chandler has won a ring, he knows how to win more. Melo needs to listen to the big beard.
-
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Melo only took 16 shots last game though :confusedshrug:
Chandler is right about the ball movement, but he needs to focus on not getting sonned by Hibbert every single night.

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Tyson Chandler: 7 points,4 rebounds,1.7 blocks
Roy Hibbert: 14.7 points,10.7 rebounds,3 blocks
STFU TYSON. YOU'RE THE MAIN REASON WE'RE DOWN 2-1. START REBOUNDING AND DEFENDING OR GO BACK TO DALLAS.

Pau already has called out Kobe a bunch of times through the years

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
I agree with his sentiment, but he'd look better if he wasn't getting completely outplayed by his matchup. There would be more credibility if Shumpert said it.

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
 The comments would actually hold some clout if it came from someone who was actually producing.
Chandler himself has been a steaming sack of shit all postseason. He should figure out how to grab some rebounds, and how to prevent the almighty Roy Hibbert from abusing him next game...

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Too bad Chandler is playing like a scrub though.
-
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Tyson Chandler got absolutely destroyed by Roy Hibbert, meanwhile Melo took 16 shots last game. He should worry about locking down his man, and grabbing some rebounds before opening his mouth.
Hopefully this is the opening for him to be traded this offseason.

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
shots fired  seriously tho dude pass the ball once and a while.
-
Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Carmelo needs to work on helping his teammates get open shots so the defense doesn't focus on him so much. His assists in the first three games against the pacers are 1,3,1 respectively. Work the ball around and get some open shots.

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Props to Chandler for not being afraid to tell the truth about Melo unlike the rest of his teammates and most of his fans..

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Damn!
Tyson was the 7th option on a championship team and how he thinks he's something.
Tyson has been shit on defense all year, no rebounding, awful player and he's talking about the guy who put the Knicks on his back and got them the 2 seed.
Laughable.

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Next game, Melo should just pass to Tyson in the paint/low block on every single possession. See how it goes... :lol

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Their game plan revolves around Melo shooting the ball a lot though. They rely on the high screen and roll with Felton and Chandler to get open 3's as well as teams doubling Melo in the post. That's why the Knicks go small a lot.
Melo's amount of shot attempts isn't really the problem. It's just the kinds of shots he gets. It's not like Melo is a selfish player. He'll pass the ball when the pass is there. It's just that Indiana will allow him to go one on one because they aren't afraid of one guy beating them. They'll let him get his. The Knicks are most dangerous when they get hot and start splashing 3's. Allowing Melo to isolate and take everyone else out of rhythm quells that threat. Just gotta give credit to Indiana. They're an elite defensive unit.

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Are we certain he was aiming Melo? I'm thinking in the lines of JR. I know it pains many people but Melo is a great individual player, Jr is not... and this comes after a game where Melo shot only 16 times, while JR shot 12 times, despite playing with the flu and only 20 minutes.
But hey off-course the idiots gonna say it's about Melo.
Suddenly the 3 point machine that was the Knicks disappeared, Knicks are shooting 3x less 3's, nobody wants to shoot the ball, if anything Melo should be taking all of Jr's shots, pretty sure Knicks would be a better team.

Re: Chandler on Carmelo: "Stop chucking and stick to the game plan"
Tyson should also stick to the gameplan and do his part by rebounding and defending. Sadly he hasn't done that in the last few games.
I don't see why he says something like that to the media. The team is down 1-2 and the last thing they need is some kinda internal dispute.
