Atlanta Hawks Are Getting Alternate Jersey

i know you guys are going to want to see picture of this third jersey, but there are none. I was checkin out the hawks website today and i saw this little countdown thing they were doing until the first Hawks game.

These jerseys will most likely be Red, and the only picture i have seen of a possible atlanta hawks alternate uniform is this:

The hawks main colors are red and blue, I don't see why they shouldn't have red alternates

im opening up photoshop right now. gonna come up with a quick jersey design, just wait

but if the atlanta hawks deside to go with their regular jerseys as the alternate, but just change the color to red and add the ATL on it, then this is what it would look like. (maybe in a little lighter red)

Thats pretty much the same jersey as seen in the photoshopped Josh Smith picture.

This design was actually one my least favorite. It looks so tacky to me with the gradients and the big Hawk all over it. I guess I just prefer a more minimalistic and classic look.

As for the new alternates, I didn't expect they were actually gonna go with this design, but they look alright. Not many teams can pull off abbreviated lettering on their jerseys.

if any team in the NBA could pull off the abbreviated lettering i think that team would be the hawks. Everytime someone says ATL they know their talkin about the city of atlanta

I think they're the best new jersey we've seen this year

they kinda copied SUNS style by just using ATL. Other than that, best new jerseys so far.

I like the Hawks New Uniform.

Not bad. I really miss jerseys that actually have the teams logo on it though. At least one of the Hawks jerseys should have a Hawk on it IMO :confusedshrug:
