Seems like a PG rivalry is brewing.

Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
before the cp3 haters which is like 95 percent of ISH come in
cp3 is pissed at rondo because of a comment rondo said of him before the game saying..."he only gets his stats because he has the ball in his hands all the time"....
cp3 aint gonna let that slide....and sadly he has to have bull**** teamates that cant help the dude win a game he played well in...smh

Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
a point guard rivalry between Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo? :oldlol: That's not a rivalry, that's an oppression

no doubt CP3 is better but Rondo can hold his own with him from time to time. I do remember him out playing Paul last year and I don't believe KG played in that game.

Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
CP3 is mad overrated as a superstar i cant think of any other superstar that would let his team lost by 60 points at home in the playoffs not even Dirk
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Truth hurts...
If only he showed this much fight in that playoff game where they lost by......:oldlol:
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Chris Paul should have knocked Rondo out during the game.
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
its funny to hear rondo say that since he almost dominates the ball as CP3 does.

 It wasn't even that many points...Your disrespecting Paul here...No superstar player would let his team lose by 60pts..
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
lol chosenone unless Paul is dumber than a rock I doubt he got that mad just because of Rondo's comments. They probably said a lot more things to eachother on the court. But then you never know some of these guys arent the sharpest

playing with the big 3 Rondo doesn't nearly have the ball as much as he should.

:oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol: aint a PG supposed to have the Ball most of the time, just like rondo does ?? Last year there was nobody qualified to handle the Ball in NOLA. Daniels and Devin brown sucked whenever CP3 went to the bench. The bobby brown addition this year is better. Cp3 was on the bench most of the 1st
and 4th Qtr today.

Exactly...

Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Rondo is an idiot to make a comment such as that, due to the fact that he is playing on a loaded team. Would his stats be nearly as good on a team like the Bobcats?

it is hard to tell but I don't think his overall stats/impact would be hurt that significantly. He would probably avg more points but less assist.

If he was asked to do more, and had the green light to take 15 shots a game, his per game averages would be higher.
Playing with great players usually hurt your per game averages, whereas playing on crap teams make the per game averages spike a bit for the stars of the team.

Give him some help first. If Rondo was on the hrnets he would need to avg 20+ ppg. And he can't shoot.

Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Jesus Christ, why are people still blaming that huge loss on Paul? I'm wondering if those idiots even watched the game. Because if they did, they would have seen Paul struggle to get his plays set up, and not shoot that much. But they would have also seen that the vast majority of points Denver scored did not come on Paul's defensive errors. The Nuggets were blasting the poor defense of Paul's supporting cast, and their defensive pressure was exposing Scott's vanilla offense and the lack of playmakers aside from Paul and West on the hornets. Laying the blame of that loss at Paul's feet is ignorant, because it takes entire teams to win big, and entire teams to lose big as well. The HORNETS got blasted by a superior NUGGET team, it wasn't Paul solely responsible for the meltdown. He certainly has his own share of responsibility, but he can't be held responsible for everything that happens on the court.

Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
this is a good time to bring up the jealous argument. chris paul is jealous of all the attention rondo has been getting. this guy rondo is on tv every other night getting all the spotlight. the announcers arent talking about kg , pierce, or allen, (theres nothing else to talk about with those guys) they're talking about the new phenom rajon rondo. chris paul hates that because he feels he should be in the spotlight since to him he is clearly the better player
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
New Orleans has one of the worst benches... and their SG rotation is pretty putrid right now.
On nights West, and Okafor have bad games, it canget really ugly for Chris Paul. He'll basically have to do everything himself.
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Rondo was in his ear all game talking trash.

How many points did the Lakers lose by in Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals?
My point is, sometimes the superstars don't get any help from their teammates.
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
rondo is an idiot for saying what he said
with that being said
paul is a joke and i wish he had a different brain its so hard to root for an ass hole.
you really think parker or duncan would retaliate the way paul does?? They just go about business.
paul is emotional and its gonna hurt him when it comes to winning a championship
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Chris Paul is a much better player, MVP candidate and Rondo could only dream to be able to carry a load as heavy as CP3. No one wants to have to do that much to win, but he has to. Look at his team. Without him, I would really have to question if they win more than 10 games. He does everything for them, including the laundry.
Rondo is a good player, but he is playing with a Fantasy draft team along side of him.
I hope Chris goes off the rest of the season. He seems like the type.

Excuse us if not every player in the league is as boring and emotion-less as the Spurs' players are.
Paul is a kid and undoubtedly needs to grow up. But I know for a fact I wouldn't appreciate an ugly cheapshot artist attack my game and my stats before a game when he is clearly jealous of the attention I receive.
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Rondo did not even say anything publicly he said it in a private conversation which Perkins leaked.
-
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
what a winey *****, let it go, he should know its true. i wish rondo mentioned the fact that half of chris pauls steals are complete crap too

Please. Rondo slaps people in the face and says he is going for the ball. Now that is complete crap. Look, I love both players, but Rondo should not say anything to Paul. Its just wrong. The man is that team. He is playing with broken pieces. Not fair. Put CP3 on Boston and they are a 67 win team. Put Rondo on the Hornets and they only win 20 games.

there is a difference in being a WHINEY ***** ^ then getting pumped up after you hit a shot or when you do good. spurs are not emotionless. you must have never seen any of our playoff games.

I am trying to remember the last time Duncan and Parker did not have the luxury of an at least average team. Look at the Hornets w/o CP3. Wasteland. Old Peja, Slaps a lot West and Okafor? :violin:

Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
LOL @ all the CP3 defenders here. Its true. CP3 always has the ball in his hands. I'm not saying Rondo is better, but to say he'd "wreck" Rondo is absurd. Rondo has outplayed CP3 a number of games.
And why do players do this? Do they think they're going to get past security/team personnel? And even if they did, what would he do??? Nothing. You really think ONE opposing player will go into an opponent's lockerroom and try and start something? THAT is incredibly stupid.
