NBA legends in strange jerseys at the end of their careers
Which was the weirdest to see? Here are some recent greats who were associated with one team.

haha i never knew dominique went to the spurs. that one!
i thought he finished with the magic..?
-
Re: NBA legends in strange jerseys at the end of their careers
C-Webb was terrible, but those Jerseys werent strange.
Detroit is his hometown and GS is the first team he played for. Completely understandable. Should he still have been playing with no knees at this point? Hell no.
I think Ewing in Seattle is just flat out disgusting.
MJ in Washington just was not a good look. He couldnt get them to the playoffs in the LEAST?

I forgot he went to Orlando after the Spurs. I'll edit the OP photo.
Stro Webber going to the Warriors was kind of fitting imo since he started his career there.

Yeah but the topic was like seeing known players in strange jerseys. He had some good years in GS, and his most memorable highlight IN that jersey.

Well IMO it is a strange jersey. The GSW jersey everyone saw him play in looked like this..

C-Webb left the Warriors because he said he was afraid of Earthquakes....I hated dude since then.

Re: NBA legends in strange jerseys at the end of their careers
Hakeem in Toronto, MJ as a Wizard, and Pippen as a Bull the second time around have always been some of the weirdest ones to me.
How bout Sheed in Atlanta (not end of career, but still strange) and Rodman in LA?

Re: NBA legends in strange jerseys at the end of their careers
Rodman in LA. :oldlol: Don't forget this either:

I liked Pippen ending his career with the Bulls. No one knew he had nothing left for his final year but at the time he went back it looked like a good idea. I am glad AI is back with the Sixers. If a player can't stay with the same team for his entire career retiring with "his team" is the next best thing imo.
Crisoner, I put Pippen and Jordan in the same photo. Pippen in Portland and Jordan in Washington were weird enough but them playing against each other in strange jerseys?
These two were not NBA but weird as hell:

this could have been iverson..
luckily he made it back to the sixers.
I forgot he went to Orlando after the Spurs. I'll edit the OP photo.
i'd never seen him play for the spurs, so i thought it was alot more shocking.
i forgot he went to the clippers to. for some reason i thought he left the hawks and went straight to the magic for a few seasons.

The saddest for me, George Gervin finishing up in Chicago as MJ's mentor.

Kinda sucked him and MJ didn't have a chance to play more together. MJ had the foot injury in Gervin's only season here which caused him to miss most of the season. Gervin, even despite being past his prime, would have made a really exciting duo with a young MJ for a full season.

Ouch. That one hurt. Sapp should NEVER have left the Bucs. And as a Bucs fan, I WISH Tim Brown never came here. That was just Gruden's love affair with over the hill, washed out players. But Tim Brown does not even look right in a Bucs jersey.

That is like, bizarro world or something. I can't believe the universe didn't explode during this game. That's just wrong. Pippen on the Blazers. Jordan on the Wizards. AGAINST each other. GUARDING each other. You know Jordan loved that game though. Could you imagine all the trash talking he did to Pippen when they were guarding each other?
