Jason Kidd, David Lee replace Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson in 2010 All-Star game

No doubt. This is why Howard gets shit on for 'only' averaging 18 - 20 PPG and nobody talks about his huge defensive numbers.

I agree that Lee is more deserving than AI, but this is madness. David Lee? Out of all the people, him? I would put Stephen Jackson over Lee.

To be honest, I'd rather see AI, or Shaq over DAVID LEE of all people.

Man, Knicks are all over All Star weekend....Gallinari in the Rookie Game and 3 Point Shoot Out, Nate in the Slam Dunk contest, Lee in the ASG, Patrick Ewing coaching the Sophomores (f u, he's a Knick), Lebron James in the All Star Game, Eddy Curry in the Hot Dog eating contest.......Knicks everywhere.......

This is shaping up to be an interesting all-star game. Not terribly entertaining, but interesting.

David Lee better throw down some ridiculous dunks.

Well with hearing there's no Kobe and now my favorite player AI, I probably won't watch this game.

Glad to see Lee making the All Star team. He deserved it, and Iverson didn't.

Smith, Crawford, and Jackson all had legit cases--as did Lee. What likely pushed Lee over the top is the Hawks and Bobcats already have an all-star while the Knicks had none this year and have not had any in years. Oddly, in the West four teams have multiple all-stars (LAL, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix) but in the East only Boston does (The Celtics are the only team with 3 all-stars).

I personally think Josh Smith would have been a better choice, but I like that more teams are represented (I'm not happy there isn't any sixer though:cry: ).

Anyone else a little ticked out about A.I's personal issues excuse?

Everyone was criticizing the decision of him starting, but then A.I came back and said it's all about the fans and it's the fans decision so if they made it happen, who's to judge because it's a game for the fans.

I thought about it and completely agreed with that statement. But now to skip out after making that comment when you were first criticized to not be deserving... leaves a little bitter taste to my mouth. I really did want to see him play in one more all-star game.

His daughter is ill. Family first. He was intent on playing but he has missed a couple Sixers games because of her illness. Lets see tell your daughter "I know you're sick but kellogs is gonna be pissed off at me and I really dont want the bitter taste to sit in his mouth" or skip the game so someone else can go. Yanno because if AI does take your selfish advice and goes? There are a shytload of wahh wahh you dont deserve it AI fans crying. So he shut them up and now you're crying. Cant satisfy everyone. Family first.
