That's a good question. Lamar Doom has shown us some of his.
Don't sully the lyrics of a great song, please.

Starrrrrlight
Starrrrbright!
Things take time guys. Have you no patience?
:oldlol:
Unfortunately for starface, another 4.6 billion years would pass and he'd still be right here, at ISH with the same ass clown act, waiting for his big break...
:hammerhead:
LD, how's your big break coming along? Good I hope.

 That song is now in my head. Wow.
I tried so hard to find a picture of Johnny Drama's headshots when he got them done at the Apple Store that one episode.
You could actually describe starface using only Madonna's number one singles:
Becoming a movie star? Like A Prayer
Current life style? Material Girl
Relationship status? Like A Virgin
ISH? This Used To Be My Playground
You know starface is copying all his predictable responses right now.
Yo pete ur fat
Yo LOJ u have no hair
rufus u look like a pervert
jailblazers u have no musical taste, you are corny!
gobb you posted on ish instead of going to a sixers playoff game, loser
I think his dad told him that if takes out the trash and mows the lawn he'll take him down to Glamour Shots.

Rofl "what's wrong with my headshots? I've had those since 92"

Those are all great songs btw.
is starface Tito Beasly?
is starface an ass clown (and that new gay poster Tito Beasly?)
Yes.
lol, thanks for the interest guys. there is of course no such thing as bad pub.
i had the pictures taken last wednesday. right now they're in the process of being cropped and edited correctly (for instance, you could see the holes in my ears from the earrings, those have to be edited out) and such. they have to be transformed from pictures to headshots. i should have them sometime later this week, and you better believe i'll post them.
in the meantime, feel free to get your kicks thinking you're gangin up on me as if anything you could say bothers me. i'm 25 years old, smart, good looking, charismatic, financially comfortable, living in southern california. nothing people like gobb, deucewallaces, petes montreux, legend of josh, or rufuspaul can say to me on the internet could make me want to change one single thing. i KNOW what your guys' lives are like. you guys are a collection of socially misfit nobodies with boring jobs in small towns obsessed with someone wh is way more interesting than you. lol, negros please. take your best shots. its no skin whatsoever off my back :lol

This part of your post, where you answer the question posed by the OP, is quite good and to the point. I didn't expect that.

you havent been paying attention then, cause i never dodge anything. i'm completely honest because i'm completely confident. unlike a lot of people here, i dont beat around the bush about what my job is or what kind of stuff i have or what my beliefs are or anything about me. i have no reason to.
ask gobb what he does for a living right now. see if you get an answer. :pimp:

I'm kind of in the dark about what you currently do for a living. You're trying to break into the entertainment field but what puts food on the table?
starface, you go boy.
see below rufus.

We get it already; you're star bound. It's only a matter of time. Who knows, maybe within the next year or two (light ones)? Until then, you keep your head high, keep makin' an ass of yourself, and all that jazz.
Just do us all a solid, don't forget about us little pigeon lunch peons.
:lol

A week from today I'm going to participate in a clinical trial that'll pay me 7.2k for a 17 day stay. in fact while i'm there i'm going to launch a website with a ton of different stuff (analyzing california's political candidates, blogging about sports related stuff, some other things).
my parents also help me with living expenses because they're supportive of what I'm trying to do, and I also saved them all that money they saved up for college by not actually going for more than a year.
i also just go on craigslist and find stuff to make a quick few bucks. a lot of the tv shows and gameshows that tape during the weekday out here pay you to go sit in the audience for a few hours, so i do that once in a while. if you're intelligent, articulate, and presentable and you look around, you can find ways to make money out here.
joshy you're sounding a little bitter. just to prepare you, if you're experiencing extreme feelings of jealousy and resentment now, while you can still cling to the glimmer of hope that i dont make it, just wait until you're watchin me on the bigscreen. you might wanna look into stroke-prevention meathods right now :D
What's on the menu if your Hollywood dreams fall through starface? You have to at least explore that possibility. Maybe you could do radio or something. You seem like maybe you'd have a good radio personality where you'd get people riled up. I can see you being a brute rebel on the air in that type of industry. You need a highly read blogspot somewhere credible too.
Another question for you. Does all this ISH hate actually fuel you in terms of 'making it' in the TV/film industry?

You got me. How'd you guess!?
:lol
Seriously, when you make into the gay porn industry (most notable role being poor little white boy getting gang banged by big black pack), no one here will know except that guy dude White Chocolate who came out the closet about a month ago.

this line right here has ensured that gobb will now duck this thread until it disappears.

I could see Starface being a good radio personality actually, depending on how charismatic he is when speaking. And how good of a "voice" he has.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I would avoid any sort of clinical trial that offered $7k for two weeks of work. You don't figure maybe there's a reason they need to pay people an exorbitant amount of money to do nothing except be guinea pigs?

In starface's cast, it's a promising penile enlargement study. So, 7k or not, he's in.

i did that earlier in my life. it ****ing blew balls. especially the carson daly tapings, they made me want to club baby seals.

I suppose you have thoroughly read the contract (in case you've already signed), haven't you? Does it free them of responsibility for any future health issues you might suffer as a consequence? I'm curious about this whole stuff.

yeah its cause you have to have 17 days in a row available to stay overnight, but have to pass an alcohol, drug, nicotine, and general health screen so you cant just be some bum off the street, and then of course you have to get stuck with a needle once a day for a blood draw and of course there's "technically" a risk involved to an investigational drug (this one's for an asthma medication, which coincidentally i have anyway) but this isn't some underground lab testing crazy stuff the way most people probably picture it. these take place constantly around the country, i've done about a dozen since getting out of college, the facilities are state of the art, big screen tv's, recliners, ping pong tables, etc. etc.

No, I realize that, but they could fill these things pretty easily for much less than that, I'm sure. If it seems too good to be true (making 7 grand for doing nothing), it is. Not saying it's going to be harmful to you in this instance per se, just that I'd rather earn my money than be someone's guinea pig.

:oldlol:
Ironically enough, this sounds like something a bum would be volunteering to do. Makes it sound like a prisoner release program. Haven't you seen Surviving the Game with Ice-T? Before you know it, you'll be looking out a plane down at NW Canada hundreds of miles away from civilization. You'll look over at the guy sitting next to you suited up in camouflage, he grins looks at you and says "you sure do gotta purdy mouf."
Haven't you seen Surviving the Game with Ice-T?
The great irony of this question is that I have seen it, I watched it during my stay at a clinical trial
sounds like you're on the right track, as long as you understand what a grind pursuing this dream is they can't f*ck with you. you have to train yourself to love rejection and figure out what's realistic, if you're expecting to be Tom Cruise big you're in for a letdown. It's very difficulut to make a living as an actor, you'd be surprised how many recognizable actors live in small apartments and really struggle. If you can afford to join AFTRA you should go ahead and jump on that, can't hurt, AFTRA took over a lot of new TV shows after the SAG situation (SAG couldn't agree on a new contract, looked like they might strike). SAG still dominates features (and over half of TV probably) and that's really the union you want to get into. I might be able to help you get your SAG vouchers next LA show I get but my next job will likely be in NYC (Men in Black 3!). I'd say the same thing I said to halftime, get on craigslist and try to get parts on some low/no budget shit, student films, shorts, web series, whatever the f*ck you can get on, it will suck but you might be able to piece together a reel from it (ask for dailys). register with central and do a few days of background to get used to being on a real set and see how shit works. learn some lingo, etc.
do you have theater experience or are you just jumping into this? finding an agent is key but finding an agent to believe in you is tricky when you're just a kid off the street. it's gonna be tough too because you're young and you don't have brad pitt/josh hartnett looks (no offense, i'm sure you realize this though, at least you're fit, that helps), not a lot of great character actor parts for 25 year olds. you're likely gonna be trying to get cop, doctor, military roles for a while. It's not easy, getting into SAG and getting an agent who's going to put you up for shit is the first big step, the second step is getting that first (couple) role(s). You gotta just go for it, there's thousands of people out here who say they're actors but they never audition, they don't take classes, they're just sitting around waiting for someone to pick them out of the crowd and it will never happen. Gotta hustle.
LD actually sounds like he knows the 'getting your foot in the door' undertaking. Maybe you're already aware of all this starface, but I'm not quite sure you do. You brag about how honest and open you are about everything, yet you've never alluded to anything that would suggest to us here you have any freakin' clue whatsoever about how you're going to accomplish getting into the industry. Maybe you should take some notes from LD.
Confidence is obviously vital, but LD, from your experience, would you say being overly confidence bleeding into cocky is more of a + or -? If starface is anything offline as he is online, I think he's going to be seen right through, and as you mentioned, experience some letdowns, probably equating to eventual meltdowns for homey.
do you have theater experience or are you just jumping into this?
no theatre experience other than that the way i communicate is pretty theatrical by nature. when i talk to people or make presentations (especially things i'm passionate about) i get very animated, very flamboyant, very bold, the voice starts rising and falling, the hands are everywhere, "i dont care what you want, you're gonna hear what i have to say" attitude comes out. i'm a salesperson, communicating and putting on a show is what i do. in real life i'm just like i am here, except i TRY not to be quite as hostile (even though by nature i sometimes want to) - although many times i've failed and gotten in some trouble over it - but honestly when i talk people listen because i make them. im not passive or shy or unsure, i dont wait my turn to speak and im not still and monotone when i do it. i can act anything, belieeee dat.
finding an agent is key but finding an agent to believe in you is tricky when you're just a kid off the street.
This is where my salesmanship and eloquence will hopefully come in. while i'm in the study i'm gonna send out my headshots and cover letters etc. to a bunch of agents and basically convince them why i'm gold, and i have no doubt i'll be able to get at least one of them hooked. like i said, that's what i do.
not a lot of great character actor parts for 25 year olds.
yeah this is what the headshot lady was saying, it could be tough that i'm a little bit past playing in a high school movie but not really old enough to be a detective or a parent or a surgeon etc. there's a limited number of parts out there but they are out there, and putting anyone but me in them would be a mistake. once i get to meet people in person i'll be able to get that across. that's the hardest part about this whole thing for me, the fact that you have to do all sorts of submitting where people make their decisions just based on stuff on paper without getting to meet you. if i can get chances to meet with people, its over.
getting into SAG and getting an agent who's going to put you up for shit is the first big step, the second step is getting that first (couple) role(s).
true dat, once i get my initial portfolio with headshots, resume, cover letters etc. together and get out of the study, it's go time. the funniest thing about being in this industry to me is that because there are so many people that do it, when you say you're an actor or whatever people are just like "oh, another one..." and assume you're like everyone but for me i see very clearly what other people bring and how i'm different, but its not something you can really explain until you get a chance to just go do it. but that being said, i'll say it again just for the hell of it so that everyone knows: i got dis!
You got dissss face... belieeee dat! You go boy.
anyway, where'd gobb disappear to? i mean we know he didnt actually log off the forum. funny how once i answered his question directly he shuttled off, either that or the sum-pump broke in his parents basement and he's knee deep in water right now scrambling to get the computer unplugged and out of harm's way.
Gotta love your confidence but don't you think you should sprinkle a little bit a realism in there every once in a while?
