Interesting, I wonder if this means a Dampier move is in the works?

I'm guessing they are just going to cut him for the savings and not re-sign him.

Dampier could be likely to start for the Bobcats as center while Kwame will be a reserve. Oh sh!t, I forgot Jordan is with the Bobcats...I hope this decision will be his best. I would like to see Kwame breakout.

lol
At this point Kwame is the better player. If Charlotte can not get anything for Damp, I expect them to cut him, and for him to sign with a contender who needs 6 fouls and 10-15 minutes.

this picture is so applicable and useful in many ISH discussions. its uncanny :lol
Jordan is going to make him cry again in practice.
Actually that's probably why he signed him in the first place.

As a Bulls fan, I'm a little disappointed that we didn't pick him up. We have no good backup centers and he would've been serviceable.
Waiting patiently until Big Damp is realeased from the Bobcats, so he can sign with the Heaters. :pimp:
As big of a bust as he has been, this is a good signing for Charlotte. I mean A REALLY good signing. He's one of the very few true centers in the league and can be a huge defensive presence. With Larry Brown as his coach, expect him to really prosper and be the starter on that team within no time at all.

I don't think that's going to happen.
Teams that will be trying for Damp:
-Atlanta
-Cleveland
-Denver
-Detroit
-Miami
-Milwaukee
-San Antonio
-Toronto
-Utah
Shit I'd take Kwame for the vet's min if Indy had the roster space. Not a bad signing at all.

Looking forward to seeing you eat crow.

in a related note lester hayes was seen at the us post office sending the bobcats a case of "stikum" left over from his playing days

You have Kurt Thomas lol.
What a beast.
Jordan trying to make up for his mistake.
I wonder how akward the meeting will be when Kwame signs that contract.
[QUOTE=Se
He's not a bad player. Just a bad #1 pick.
I won't be. Kwame showed some good work ethic and some damn good defense in his two years with Detroit. If he can stay in Brown's good books, I'd bank on him being the starter for most of the year. He's easily better than freaking Diop and Nazr. I doubt Dampier will be there opening night, too. Pretty easy bet that he starts.
I'll start boiling the water for the crow. I assume you want it boiled?
i think charlotte will make it back to the playoffs again this yr. they r a well rounded eam and feel tht with the size theyve picked up it will only help the overall success of the team

Kwame probably doesn
CHAMPIONSHIP :lol
But seriously, Kwame is a decent player. Bust he might be, but he's still a solid 2nd big off the bench.
Good signing for Charlotte. Kwame going to have a breakout year while MJ laughs and says I told you so!
Interesting, I wonder if this means a Dampier move is in the works?
Probably getting released, and then Dampier will join the Spurs or Heat to go after a ring.
Way to go Hawks and miss out on Kwame.
Woot woot!
If Kwame gets his act together, he can be the Bobcats starting center and become the player Ervin Johnson was during his prime in Milwaukee - tough defender of the paint, shot blocker, solid rebounder, solid energy player on offense.
Book it. It's his starting spot at center, if he plays well. And he's got a real shot.
The NBA, where the sequel to Michael Jordan-makes-Kwame-Brown-cry happens....
Kwame, Dampier, Diop, Nazr... Too many C for one team

Kwame probably doesn
I've got to say...MJ has some cojones to again associate himself with his biggest failure of his NBA career, the Kwame selection.
I'm surprised Kwame hasn't been picked up sooner. There are alot worse bigman stiffs on the rosters than Kwame.
I bet Damp ends up back with the Mavs.
Jordan: "Where is my anti-stress Kwame?"
Kwame, Dampier, Diop, Nazr... Too many C for one team
Dampier is as good as gone.
Kwame, Dampier, Diop, Nazr... Too many C for one team
It was the same thing last year, just with Ratliff and Chandler.
It was the same thing last year, just with Ratliff and Chandler.
oh... so true
Hopefully Brown plays Kwame, Tyrus and Gerald together. That's a very good defensive frountcourt.
