Nice pickup if he's stable. They needed another wing defender since TA left

I love this move by the Celtics. :applause:
Perfect replacement for Tony Allen.
I love this twitter comment :oldlol:

Is your goal to post this shit in every thread?
Boston have found their Lebron stopper for the playoffs :D
If all goes right this could end up being a great move.

If his head is on straight than it is a good signing.. He was the Cavs second best all around player.... Still the dude isn't all there..

I like this team with Delonte. If the starting 5 can make it through the playoffs healthy there isn't a better team in the league. Just look at their depth chart.
Perk/Shaq/JO
KG/Davis
Pierce/Daniels
Allen/West/Bradley
Rondo/Robinson
Not sure I understand why they signed him. Is he going to guard Kobe, LeBron, Wade or Derrick Rose? Really? He'll strengthen their bench, but I still think they really needed to keep Tony Allen or find another wing defender.
great fit. Love his game.
find another wing defender.
Like who? They're over the cap
Like who? They're over the cap
Couldn't they have went after Matt Barnes too? I just don't see this as that big of a deal.

He did a pretty good job on those guys (minus Bron of course) for the Cavs, and he's obviously a much better offensive player than Tony Allen. I see Delonte as a pretty substantial upgrade to TA.

He's the best they could get this cheap and when he is focused he can defend but he can score too. Maybe in Boston with quailty team and coaching they will keep his head screwed on. West focused makes Boston very dangerous and a real threat to Miami.
miami-boston just got better. lebron vs west/shaq

They had no cap space for Barnes, all they had was the min. Barnes had his mind set on the life of L.A though and being on the champs helps too. Agree Matt would of been a perfect replacement for Allen who could do more offensively.

I really don't see this changing the match up with Boston and Miami. If Miami plays the LeBron, Wade, Miller, Bosh and Anthony lineup, I wouldn't want West out on the floor.

This cat is an idiot.

Coming from you, that might just be a compliment.
Delonte can actually create his own shot too.

You know you're coming across with a lack of knowledge base. Several posters have exposed you in this thread alone.
Stop stating your opinion like it matters.
Possibly the best player they could have signed at this point
I really don't know how LeBron will be able to concentrate on the game when he plays Celtics now....
Delonte was Clevelands best defender, just saying. Idiots.

Exposed me? All I said was that I don't see how this really helps them beat their main competitors in Miami or the Lakers. No one has said anything in this thread to offer a reason why that's wrong.
Is West the best player available? Sure. Does he some sort of game changer? Please...

Outside of Miller, West is still better than any other guard Miami can bring off the bench. West is a good player when focused, obviously big if but he has the talent

Well, if Boston is getting him to match up with Mario Chalmers or Carlos Arroyo, I guess that's fine.

They are getting him to add depth and a guy who can score and defend. I imagine he is their replacement for Tony Allen.
Having depth is a good thing certainly for an older team.
Nice move by the C's.
I don't feel as bad about TA leaving now. Delonte can defend nearly as well, but his offense is a lot better.

Sure, I just don't see this as a big deal or a move that helps them beat another good team.
He's a real important piece. You can't not guard the point guard position the embarrassing way Kobe was doing now. Plus Allen can get proper rest. Shaq might have the best shooters ever around him.
Sure, I just don't see this as a big deal or a move that helps them beat another good team.
He's just another piece to an already great team. Just like Matt Barnes joining L.A was a good role player signing into a championship winning team. It always helps.
This is a great sign.... Hopefully Pierce, Allen, Kevin and Shaq can solve one of the biggest puzzles in the history of mankind.
is Delonte West black or white?
stay tuned.

The difference is that you can argue Barnes gives the Lakers a better shot at matching up against Miami. West doesn't do that for Boston.
