Can't believe none of you said this. Sure, the Jordan ones are memorable but I mean this image here truly illustrates the essence of competitiveness in the NBA. And the NBA is all about competition.

There's also that one of Russell high in the air as he blocks some poor white guy's shot, but it's not on my flickr. You know the one. Though if you mean by famous as in recognizable nowadays. Its a very different list. most people don't know who Magic or Bird were because that was over 20 years ago.
