It won't happen. Why are these ridiculous trade rumors cropping up several times a day?
Bynum + filler for Dwight
Gasol + filler for Chris Paul
hmm..

yup, i just made a thread at the same time as you.
i honestly wouldnt be surprised if it happened.
Whens the last time Broussard has been right?
Would be quite a trio though:eek:
I wonder how many of the same people who criticized Miami coming together, specifically LeBron, and how his future rings won't "count", would maintain the same argument should this actually happen. My guess? none of them.

The money sort of makes sense, but I don't think they will trade Gasol. which I agree with.
But if Kupchak can turn always injured Bynum into Dwight Howard.. The man should get a giant statue outside of Staples.
Salaries:
Bynum $15 mil per year
Gasol $18 mil per year
Dwight $18 mil per year
Paul $16 mil per year

I think they are finally going to Shut the F*ck up. Good trade for the Lakers. I really want to see this team play the Heat in the Finals. It sucks that CP3 and Dwight won't win an NBA MVP Award.
Who's going to be the Batman and Robin for the Lakers?

As a Laker fan, it almost wouldn't be enjoyable rooting for them. Almost
I don't see why it's hard to imagine them trading Gasol.
Have we all forgotten how crappy he looked last year? He's on the block imo.

This
Haha 10 rings for kobe! GOAT
Haha 10 rings for kobe! GOAT
With Dwight Howard as the Batman of this team. Dwight was the superior player last season.
Don't want to see either on the Lakers as a Kobe and NBA fan.

How is collusion even remotely similar to trading? What a stupid post.
LeBron and Bosh agreeing to join forces with Wade in Miami during their free agency =/= Team management improving their team through trades
The thing is these teams don't want to lose CP or Howard for nothing. And if they won't sign an extension for certain teams, then what choice to teams have? Now if some time don't mind renting them for a season than cool. However ideally, u would want something in return. So there's a better chance than some think that this CAN happen. A team like the Knicks don't have the pieces on the roster to get Paul. Not saying that other don't have better deals out there, but they have more to offer than many teams as well.
With Dwight Howard as the Batman of this team. Dwight was the superior player last season.
lol on the magic, this is laker town kid. kobe will still be the man

Bull$hit
With Dwight Howard as the Batman of this team. Dwight was the superior player last season.
:lol
Kobe would still be the #1 guy on offense. Though Dwight will get at least an extra 4 points a game off of D Fish missed layups.
I would make a distinction between Kobe and Lebron because if Kobe plays on a super team he would have done so after already winning a grip of championships. Lebron couldn't beat em, so he joined em. Either way I'm not a guy who is in the habit of downplaying championships. If the Heat win some they win some. Superteam or not. The 96 Bulls were a Superteam.
lol on the magic, this is laker town kid. kobe will still be the man
if this happens....they just need to give the trophies to Lakers right now
*** 3 Vs REAL 3....
lol on the magic, this is laker town kid. kobe will still be the man
Tell that to Dwight Howard and CP3. It Kobe won't sacrifice his FG's attempts per game this team ain't going anywhere. The Magic have some horrible GM's if they didn't ask to include Gasol on the Howard and Bynum trade.
The Lakers could actually pull this off...easily.

if this goes down...they aint winning sh!t....who is going to guard CP3 and D12?
This is pretty ridiculous for Broussard's standards.
So Gasol, Bynum, Odom, & Peace are on the Trade Block? OK.
We all knew that.

honestly,
kobe has already earned his rings and respect
howard has already proved that he can't carry a team and be the guy
if anything it only hurts cp3s legacy, but at the same time once kobe retires this will be pauls team

haha he wont shoot as much but eryone will know whos team it is, especially when the game is on the line
what can they get better than pau or bynum for howard?

kobe respects cp3's work ethic and drive....
as long as howard plays D and dominates the paint he will get his opportunities

BREAKING NEWS:
NBA teams like good players, will try and trade for them

I mean Paul and Howard would pretty much have to agree to it. It's not that much different. I never had a big problem with the Heat joining up. I just hated them because f*ck Lebron.

It won't happen. And you guys still need to beat the OKC Thunder and a well coached team like the Grizzlies in the playoffs.
