Not sure if I'm just really tired but those exactly like the last years to me :confusedshrug:
They should go back to repping their own teams' jerseys like before.
They should go back to repping their own teams' jerseys like before.
they make more money this way, (more jersey sales)
they make more money this way, (more jersey sales)
So add some stars and shit or something to the regular jerseys?
I mean, make 'em stand out, but don't lose the team's design / colors.
Those jerseys are fugly.

I prefer this one.
Look cheap

No, they shouldn't. The NBA always had All-Star uniforms.
I don't like the two road colors though.
Meh

Agreed.
I forgot all about Anthony Mason being on the Heat for a year and making his only ASG, at like 35 years old.
I don't really know if I like them or not :confusedshrug:
They should go back to repping their own teams' jerseys like before.
nba makes less money that way
not gonna happen
Bump
They look exactly the same as last years. Next.

agree. they could make them a little bit diffrent. it is so much cooler to see them representing their teams.
i always remember the 2000 allstar game beacause of that.
A) those jerseys have looked almost the same every year for the past half decade
and
B) the reason they use these and dont let the players wear their own jerseys like in 98 and 02 is because the nba wants to make extra money off the sale of these ugly things
They look so much like last years (or was it the year before that?).
I agree, I loved the whole see everybody play with their team's jerseys at the same time. I get why they'd make the new jerseys ($$$), but seriously who would buy an all star jersey?? I've never seen one in person because I doubt anyone would buy them... I think they'd make just as much if they made like personal warm ups with special designs or something. Then again, I do love seeing the player's ASG colorways usually.
Is it just me or does the all star west jersey lookslike it can be an Asian national team jersey (Chinese/Vietnamese flags are red with yellow star(s))
They should go back to repping their own teams' jerseys like before.
This is my biggest complaint about the ASG. I LOVED it when players sported their own teams' jerseys. Wish they'd go back to it, but they never will b/c it's all about making money.

I respectfully disagree. I think I liked the novelty of it when they first implemented the "each player wears his team's jersey" thing in 1997 (I think) but I grew tired of it very quickly. For me, it seemed to zap a large part of the special feel associated with the All-Star game. I see all those guys in their regular jerseys all year. To see them rocking them again for the All-Star game (but with a star patch on the shoulder) was sort of bland to me. When a player from my home team makes the All-Star club, I like when it feels special, to see them wearing something fresh.
Conversely, I like seeing new all-star jersey designs each year. I actually liked those teal San Antonio ones. I admit they're tacky or whatever else you want to call them, but I just liked seeing things changed up. With that said, I agree with the poster who said these year's jerseys remind me of last year's.

My thoughts exactly.
Why not keep the original team jerseys with a few minor adjustments. Have the their team logo and number on the front still but change the uniform color itself to either the original red or blue all star colors depending which conference the player is in. They should definitely consider that. That would be pretty cool.

That actually sounds pretty cool.
The white team jerseys are great, but when every player on the colors team is wearing a different color, its gets pretty bad to watch. Plus they can sell those all star jerseys to some idiots that will buy them. That additional revenue is exactly why they won't change. Plus adidas likes trying out stupid lighter fabric material.
The NBA has always had separate ASG Jerseys.
I never liked the wear you own uniform thing. It looks stupid to me.To me it was like the NBA didn't give a shit about the players. Prior to that phase, they had some hideous jerseys with wack colors.
They should go back to these:

:lol These all look the same. Now they make another ASG jersey that looks the exact same.
Look at the '94 East, '96 East and '03 East. A lot more creative then these :banghead:
