look at his progress in Denver. If he had a 10 year career in denver and his team performed the way it has been doing now, he would also demand a trade
from the looks of this,
philly losing was entirely his fault. glad we got rid of him.

he doesn't exactly have a team right now. the Nuggets were mediocre when Melo and JR were active.

i think your larry brown underoos are to tight...
AI is a guy who just doesn't fit into teams because of how he plays and most likely won't win a title and is going to get a lot of teams losses...
AI just is not a winner...its his style of play
I didn't know a loser could carry his team to the NBA finals.
I didn't know a loser could carry his team to the NBA finals.
Once in a weak east
His style of play isn't meant to get wins...But that year he was just so good, his losing style of play wasn't strong as how well he played, coaching, and defensive structure of the team...
when he went to the finals, it was a supporting cast that didn't do anyting but get boards and play d.
its nearly impossible to get a team together like that.
I'd like to know who is in Denver that AI is playing with from you kids.
*waits*

Doesn't matter
The way he plays, he isn't going to get a lot of wins
even playing with KG, AI would flop
he might as well play by himself.

a team that was seven games above .500 is medicore? I thought that medicore meant that a team was right around .500 or a little below .500.
even playing with KG, AI would flop

Agreed
everyone here agrees AI is better than melo.
so in actuality, they are substituting Melo for a better player in AI.
but even with this better player substitution, AI still manages to crash a team.

well I like that y'all are not giving the nuggets anychance. all that means is that the nuggets have something to prove and little or no pressure on thim. I think that makes the nuggets a very dangerous team.

Knock the guy all you want, at least he didn't lose to an 8th seed in the 1st round.

They'll be decent with the talent they have on the floor...A 48 win team is what I'll say...Because both AI and Carmelo are great individually...but overall, their team isn't going to win as much as they are talented...

It does matter you moron.
Boykins, Klezia, Diawara, D.Johnson, Najera, Camby, Evans.
Seattle 13-24 with another loss tonight that you guranteed.
To the idiot Walrus Denver Nuggets had a different team than they do when AI arrived and started playing. Sorry you couldnt see that dipshyt.

if AI had spent 10 years in Denver he'd probably own a ring by now. i cant wait until Melo and JR come back. they're going to surprise people.
Iverson is playing like i expected him to play during this time period. he has no role whatsoever yet, because the current team is in shambles. when he does nothing but pass the 2nd unit misses jumpers nonstop. when he's tried to shoot more he's had so-so results. did anyone expect AI to carry Denver's 2nd unit to a 8-0 record? not even MJ could have carried the current Denver squad. Diawara and Boykins are logging 40 minute games! :oldlol: its tough when for a lot of the games you're missing Melo, JR, Kmart, Camby, and Nene. thats an entire starting 5 thats vanished.
like i keep saying, you cant judge anything yet. in 2 months if its a disaster, i'll be bashing right along with you. but the AI/Melo/Smith era hasnt even begun yet. the team AI is leading now is just as bad as the Sixers.

ai got 5 games without just melo...
you got 5 games to prove me wrong...otherwise you need to shut the **** up.

The way Phoenix plays has never won anything of real value, but no one calls Steve NAsh a loser. At least AI's style has gotten his team to the finals.
AI isn't a good player for a team...
he is a marbury.
someone chucking 4-19 isn't going to win any games.
The way Phoenix plays has never won anything of real value, but no one calls Steve NAsh a loser. At least AI's style has gotten his team to the finals.
agreed, and I truely believe that he'll take the nuggets to the promise land if not this year than next year.
I am also sure that teams will not want to face us once we have our full firing squad with our style offence.

he is light years better than Marburry, i think your ignorance is quite hilarious

what makes him better than marbury?
both are chuckers. both have "fake" assist numbers.
both don't make their teams better.
you need to shut the **** up and realize that AI isn't a winner like the rest of those chucking swingmen.

AI has been to the finals....AI has an MVP.....thats what makes him better than MArbury.
walrus just stfu man, you're typing garbage.
I was the first person to say this would happen. And everyone here called me a racist and an idiot. I could have told you this a while ago.
Just wait till Carmelo gets back, and all hell with break loose. At least one core player will get traded by summer

what exactly happened??? nothing... this isnt the team, AI is not trying to take over.... so what exactly happened????
You get rid of the two top scorers on the team... replace them with AI. AI doesnt know the offense or the players around him. If he scores forty his is a chucker and if he passes they lose.
this denver team will not make the playoffs
i could see them plummet 5-7 games below .500.

what the hell are u talking about? your bashing them before they have a chance to prove them selves. just let them play together before you cast judgment.

The thing is that they really haven't played any good teams with him back. They even lost to his old 76ers squad! they lost to a dallas team without dirk. He isn't making them any better.
And I can tell you for a fact that him and carmelo are not compatible. Honestly what the hell was Denver thinking?? putting 2 guys on the same squad who play off of isolations and cannot move without the ball and who both demand 25+ shots a night to be effective. Not to mention both are defensive liabilities. It just reeks of disaster.

True. but look: they even managed to lose to the hornets, when the hornets were missing their 3 best players. I can't see iverson making them any better. just my opinion
man you must be the most clueless person on this planet. do us all a favor and shut your pile hole.
this is my opinion...you can have your own.
i think ai is a bad team player
he needs to play with guys that dont' need the ball.
he would even have problems palying with KG....he needs guys like mutombo, snow, hill, and a iggy...everyone else playing with him will crash.
its not a coincidence that every 2nd option has crashed when playing with AI.

and another ignorant person that has no clue what he is talking about. lets see your team play with out their main scorer and numerous injuries and see how many games you can win.
the 76er game we had the following players out
Melo
Camby
Nene
Jr smith
Kenyon martin ( out for the season)
can your team win a game with those core type players out?
